焦點标记词 ‘連’의 품사 고찰 (A Study on Part of Speech of Focus Marker 'lian(连)')

초록

The word ‘连’ in “连+NP+也/都+VP” has been recognized as a preposition according to the dictionary definition. However, it was confirmed that ‘连’ was used as a topic-focus marker in the information structure and explored the part of speech of ‘连’. In modern Chinese, the focus marker is not in charge of sentence components, but is a vocabulary with the function of emphasizing the components in the sentence. Focus markers should never be used alone, but should always be used with another words or phrases that would be focused. Although it has a meaning of vocabulary, the emphasis function has a higher proportion in sentences. In particular, ‘连’ was found to have constrative qualification as the topic-focused marker. As such, in modern Chinese, the topic-focus marker ‘连’ does not play a pivotal role in sentences in both syntactics and semantics, but is used attached to other components and has a large proportion of functional aesthetics. As so, we found that the words ‘连’ is a particle in the part of speech.
