문화콘텐츠 AI 마케팅의 역기능 방지를 위한 윤리 표준 원칙에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on Ethical Standard Principles to Prevent the Adverse Effects in AI Marketing of Cultural Contents)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 문화콘텐츠 AI 마케팅의 역기능 방지를 위해 어떠한 원칙과 기준으로 접근해야 하는지 방향성을 제시하고 기존에 발표된 주요 윤리 원칙 및 기준과의 관계성 분석을 통해 우선해서 추진해야 하는 원칙과 기준을 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 연구 방법을 채택했다. 먼저, 기술이 인간(사회)에 수용되는 과정과 현상을 설명하는 선행연구를 통해 이론적 검토를 하였다. AI 기술을 어떻게 받아들이고 어떠한 관점으로 이해해야 하는지 살펴봤다. AI 기술은 과학적 불확실성이 너무 크다. 아직은 미래에 어떠한 혜택을 가져올지 알기 어렵다. 이에 과거, 기술의 역기능을 사전에 방지하기 위한 사전주의 규제 원칙이 아닌 신중한 경계 원칙의 접근이 필요하다는 점을 이론적 배경으로 제시했다. 향후 과학적 불확실성이 존재하지만 지속적으로 잠재적 혜택과 위험 요소를 평가하면서 과학적 확실성을 보강하는 관점에서 AI 기술을 수용해야 한다. 둘째, 사례 분석을 통해 AI 기술을 마케팅 분야에 적용했을 때 나타나는 긍정적인 면과 부정적 면을 비교 분석했다. 이를 통해 현 수준의 AI 기술이 가져올 역기능을 방지하기 위해 어떠한 원칙과 기준으로 접근해야 하는지 방향성을 도출할 수 있었다. 셋째, AI 기술에 대해 국내외에서 발표된 주요 원칙과 기준을 분석하여 중요도 순으로 도출하고 먼저 도출한 방향과의 관계성을 검토했다. 그 결과 저작권과 데이터 편향 및 투명성, 프라이버시, 안전성 분야의 역기능을 해소하기 위한 윤리 표준 원칙과 기준이 우선해서 필요하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to present the direction of what principles and standards should be approached to prevent the adverse effects of cultural content AI marketing and to derive principles and standards that should be promoted first through analysis of relationships with previously announced major ethical principles and standards. To this end, the following research methods were adopted. First, a theoretical review was conducted through previous studies explaining the process and phenomenon of technology being accepted into humans (social). We looked at how AI technology should be accepted and understood from what perspective. AI technology has too much scientific uncertainty. It is still difficult to know what benefits AI technologies will bring in the future. Therefore, as a theoretical background, the need for a prudent vigilance approach, rather than the precautionary principle that was regulated in the past to prevent adverse effects of technology, was presented as a theoretical background. Although scientific uncertainty exists in the future, AI technology should be embraced while continuously evaluating potential benefits and risks and reinforcing scientific certainty. Second, through case analysis, the positive and negative aspects of applying AI technology to the marketing field were compared and analyzed. Through this, it was possible to derive the direction of what principles and standards should be approached to prevent the adverse effects of the current level of AI technology. Third, the main principles and standards of AI technology announced at domestic and foreign were analyzed, derived in important order, and the relationship with the direction derived earlier was reviewed. As a result, it was concluded that ethical standards principles were first needed to resolve the adverse effects in the fields of copyright, data bias and transparency, privacy, safety.
