초록

This paper translates and annotates Chen, Yinque’s two articles related to Yu, Xin’s Aijiangnanfu. The purpose of this study is to grasp the characteristics and merits of Chen, Yinque’s academic methodology and contribute to the study of Chinese humanities integration.
In Yu, Xin’s Aijiangnanfu and Du, Fu’s Yonghuaiguji, Chen, Yinque criticizes the view of Ni-Fan and Zeng, Guofan for the interpretation of the last eight phrases in Aijiangnanfu. It is the most basic analysis interpretation of the last eight words in Aijiangnanfu as Chen, Yinque cites Du, Fu’s Yonghuaiguji as the most excellent prior study. In the reinterpretation of these eight phrases, Chen, Yinque is carrying out the historical linguistics criticism in relation to the former four syllables, which can be a methodological alternative to overcome the errors of Zeng, Guofan. Chen, Yinque also is carrying out the historical geographics criticism in relation to the later four syllables, which can be a concrete way to overcome the errors of Ni-Fan.
In Reading Aijiangnanfu, Chen, Yinque is trying to clarify the concept of ‘old allusion’ and ‘today allusion’ as a specific object of identification and execution method of ‘Combined methodology of Literary and Historical criticism’ for the purpose of establishing the time of creation of Aijiangnanfu and the main meaning of the last four phrases in Aijiangnanfu. In order to clarify this ‘today allusion’, Chen, Yinque again presents two stages of criticism. The first must prove that this ‘today allusion’ occurred before the creation of the work, and even after this point has been proved, it must be proved very specifically that the artist had heard and seen the ‘today allusion’ for the second time.
His methodology can be of great significance in that it is a process of proving the intuitive interpretation that the author grasps through objective criticism of works, and it can give implications to the study of Chinese humanities integration.
