원형점토대토기문화 취락의 특징과 의미 -중서부지역을 중심으로- (Characteristic and meaning of Culture of pottery with clay band rim settlement)

초록

점토대토기문화는 중국 요령지역으로부터 이주해 온 문화(집단)로 전제되고 있다. 기원지에서의생활방식을 지닌 채 이주한 이주문화는 이주지에서 새로운 환경 및 상황과 맞닥뜨리게 되며, 그로인한 다양한 흔적을 남긴다. 이주문화가 이주지에서 어떠한 양태로 문화를 영위해나가는지 규명하기 위해서는 문화가 정착해나가는 과정 중에 있음을 끊임없이 의식하는 것이 중요하다.
본 논문은 이러한 점을 염두에 두고, 점토대토기문화 취락을 정착 과정의 視點에서 고찰해보고자 하였다. 점토대토기문화의 최초 등장지로 여겨지고 있는 한반도 중서부지역을 공간적 범위로 삼고, 원형점토대토기문화 단계 취락을 대상으로 하여 분포와 입지, 유구 구성과 배치, 성격, 주거 및 노, 기타 내부 시설 등 취락구조를 검토하였다. 취락 간 구성 및 배치, 성격 등 전체적인 유사성을 통해 취락을 유형화하고 검토한 요소들을 복합적으로 분석하여 특징을 도출하였다.
원형점토대토기문화 취락은 기획의 개념을 공유하지만, 집단의 확산과정에서 맞닥뜨리는 변수 등에 따라 상황에 맞는 양태의 취락을 형성한다. 이에 취락은 구성과 배치 등을 통해 유형화될 수 있지만, 주거 내부구조 등에서 또한 다양성이 확인된다. 중서부지역 점토대토기문화 취락은 이주문화가 확산 및 이동하고 정착하는 과정에서 나타날 수 있는 양상을 보여주며, 나아가 입지적 특징도 이러한 맥락에서 이해할 수 있다.
원형점토대토기문화 취락의 특징과 그 의미는 정착과정의 시점에서 다양한 가능성을 열어둘 때 해상도 높은 해석이 가능할 것이다.

영어초록

Culture of pottery with clay band rim is premised as a culture (group) that has migrated the Liaoning region of China. The migrant culture, which migrated with a lifestyle in the origin, encounters new environments and situations in the migration area, leaving various traces. It is important to constantly be conscious that the culture is in the process of settling in order to investigate how the culture of migration is carried out in the place of migration.
With these points in mind, this paper attempted to consider the culture of pottery with clay band rim settlements from the point of view of the settlement process. Set the mid-western region of the Korean Peninsula, which is considered to be the first place of clay earthenware culture, as the spatial scope, and target the settlement at the stage of pottery with round clay band rim. The settlement structure was carefully examined, distribution and location, structure and arrangement of remains, characteristics, dwellings and hearth, and other internal facilities, etc. Through the overall similarity of the composition, arrangement, and character of the villages, the villages were categorized and the reviewed factors were analyzed in a complex way to derive various characteristics.
The culture of pottery with clay band rim settlement shares the concept of planning, but forms a settlement suitable for the situation depending on the variables encountered in the process of spreading the group. Accordingly, settlements can be categorized through composition and arrangement, but diversity is also confirmed in the internal structure of the house. Culture of pottery with clay band rim settlements in the Mid-western region of Korean Peninsula show patterns that can appear in the process of spreading, moving, and settling migrant cultures, and furthermore, location characteristics can be understood in this context.
The characteristics and meaning of the culture of pottery with clay band rim settlement will be able to be interpreted with high resolution when various possibilities are left open at the time of the settlement process.
