초록

이 논문에서는 역사와 예언이라는 차원에서 김찬국의 역사 신학을 연구한다. 특히 구약 역사서 연구의 중심으로 예언자 신학과 구약의 정의의 시각을 가지고 연구하려 한다. 김찬국은 구약의 역사와 구약 역사서(신명기 역사서와 역대기 역사서) 에 대한 이해를 어떻게 하였는지 살펴보며, 그것이 구약 신학에서는 어떻게 나타나며 그의 삶의 현실에서 어떻게 적용되었는지 연구하고자 한다.
또한 구약역사서의 중심 주제를 어떻게 연구하고 있으며 그 구약 역사 방법론을 어떻게 포착하고 해석하는지 살펴보고자 한다. 끝으로 구약 역사서 해석과 구약 신학의 중심으로 민중신학을 전개하며 성서해석 방법론으로 무엇을 채택하여 적용하는지 연구한다. 특히 이 논문에서는 한국 민중 구약신학자들 중 민중 신학의 3대 신학자에 들어간다는 논지로 김찬국의 신학을 다룬다.
김찬국의 박사 논문 제2이사야 연구를 통한 창조전승의 역사 연구를 하며 그가 역사적 정의감과 역사의 의식을 어디서 찾을 수 있는지 연구한다. 구약신학자로서 추구하는 개념이 무엇이었는지, 역사의식의 중심에는 정의와 자유라는 두 축이 있었고 이것은 제2이사야의 창조전승에서 예언자 정신을 찾는다. 구약 성서에서 구약역사 정신인 정의를 찾아서 어두운 한국 근대사의 정의의 예언자로서 한국 민주화의 뿌리가 되었다. 김찬국의 민중신학의 출발점은 그의 역사의식, 구약 역사서 신학, 그리고 구약역사의 예언자 신앙과 정의에서 찾아봐야 한다는 결론에 도출한다.

영어초록

This thesis is to study the theology of Chan Kook Gim with the emphasis on the history of the Old Testament Historical Books.
We focused on the dimensions of the History and the Prophets as he is able to distinguish the historical idea from the prophets. His views always include the Prophetic perspectives through the Old Testament. We will examine his understanding of the Old Testament History and the Old Testament Historical Books (i.e. Deuternomistic History, Chronicle History). We will also explore his actions and the applications in that place of life.
The method of historical interpretation will be considered in three aspects; in the religious, political, and social background. He was the embodiment of the indigent people and played the righteous prophet role. His theology is presented through the analysis of the historical background of the Text, Sitz im Leben.
This thesis also is to clarify Chan Kook Gim as being one of three representatives of the Korean Min Jung Theology. We will examine to study the interpretation of Old Testament History and Old Testament Theology through his Minjung Theology, the Th. M. Thesis, Ph. D Dissertation, and the note of Old Testament Theology of 1956, We will find the seed of the righteous of the Old Testament Theology, focusing on the creative thinking of Babylonian Period Book (Deuteronomist), as well as obtaining the consciousness of the history in the Old Testament in the Historical text and the Interpretation of Min Jung Theology.
His theology focuses on the social justice, the axis of the Prophet, and the History of the Old Testament Justice. The points of his study is the principal of the interpretation of the History.
Therefore, the conclusion is the key person of the Min Jung Theology Paradigm with Chan Kook Gim Theology as the starting point in the Historical Consciousness, Old Testament Historical Theology, and Prophetic Justice.
