逆行態 「Vてくる」の意味と用法 (Meaning and Usage of Inverse Voice V-tekuru in Japanese)

초록

本稿では、逆行態「Vてくる」構文について次の３点を明らかにした。
一つ、逆行態「Vてくる」構文の成立にかかわっている意味的条件について、「行為の方向性」「行為の他動性」という観点から考察した。「行為の方向性」については、主語の行為が話し手あるいは話し手の領域にいる対象に向けられるが、その行為は自分の行為として終結するものではなく、他者に対して行うという方向性を持たなければならないという条件を述べた。「行為の他動性」については、主語の行為は働きかけを表すが、対象の状態変化を引き起こすようなものではないため、前項動詞には他動性の弱い動詞が用いられるという条件を述べた。
二つ、逆行態「Vてくる」構文によって表される「不快感」「困惑」のような被害意識はなぜ生じるのかについて構文的要因と語用論的要因の両観点から考察した。構文的要因としては、行為の受け手である話し手が直接目的語であるか、間接目的語であるかが深くかかわっていることを明らかにした。つまり、前項動詞の項構造が「AがBにCをV」の場合と、「AがBを/にV」の項構造の場合を比較すると、前者では被害意識が生じにくいのに対して、後者では生じやすいという傾向が見られることを述べた。この前項動詞の項構造の違いは「てくる」の付加が義務であるか選択であるかとも関連しており、義務である場合、被害意識は生じにくいが、選択である場合は生じやすいという傾向が見られることを明らかにした。
三つ、主語の行為が話し手に向けられていない、即ち、行為の受け手が存在しないか、特定できない特殊なタイプの「Vてくる」構文について、「局面転換」という意味的特徴が認められることを主張した。

영어초록

This paper clarified the following three points about "V-tekuru" constructions expressing the inverse voice.
First, the semantic conditions involved in the formation of inverse voice "V-tekuru" constructions are discussed in terms of "direction　of action" and "transitivity of action." Regarding "direction of action," it was clarified that subject’s action must be directed toward others, not terminated as his or her own action. Regarding the "transitivity of action," it was clarified that the verb used in inverse voice must not be the one with strong transitivity that causes a change of state of the object.
Second, the reasons for the sense such as "discomfort" and "embarrassment" expressed by the inverse voice "v-tekuru"constructions are considered from both syntactic and pragmatic factors. As for syntactic factors, it was clarified that whether the recipient of the action, the speaker, is a direct or indirect object is deeply related. In other words, comparing the argument structure of "A-ga B-ni C-o V" and "A –ga B-o/ni V", the former is less likely to produce the sense such as "discomfort" and "embarrassment", while the latter is more likely to do so. This difference in argument structure is related to whether the addition of "tekuru" is obligatory or optional, and it was found that the sense such as "discomfort" and "embarrassment" is less likely to occur when it is obligatory, but more likely to occur when it is optional.
Third, it is argued that the semantic feature of "change of phase" is recognized in a special type of "V tekuru" constructions in which the subject's action is not directed to the speaker, i.e., the receiver of the action does not exist or cannnot be identified.
