초록

This paper examines (i) usefulness of Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka which is one of types of desyouka of Naide-Kudasaru types focused on 36 examples, (ii) what kinds of value of expression uses under the linguistic and contextual conditions.
The results are as followed:First of all, considering requirement of Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka, we can find some unnatural examples if speakers are honorifically equal or upper than listeners because (i)the distance between speakers and listeners by inherent politedness in desyouka is large, and (ii) it is a formal expression.
For distant relationship, there is no problem in using Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka as request expressions while speaker’s displeasure is strongly expressed moved by politedness included in desyouka.
On the other hand, there exist more or less unnatural examples in cases of speakers are equal or lower than listeners or listeners are honorifically lower than speakers. This is because degree of intimacy relation moves from neutral to distant.
Examining value of expression which performs Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka, it represents entreaty, solicitation/concern, consideration and intimacy/consideration and it moves to distant relationship because it implied additional meanings such as regret/jitters or joke/jitter by politedness included in desyouka.
Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka represents values of expression such as displeasure/ rage or reprimand/close questioning under the condition of speakers are distant from listeners. Speaker’s displeasure is expressed because a seperation between speakers and listeners gets big.
Moreover, Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka moves from neutral relationship to distant one because distance between speakers and listeners is amplified by politedness included in desyouka.
Polite expressions such as Naide-Kudasaranaidesyouka which honorific lower person uses for upper person can be used when listeners are accepted as honorific lower person compared to speakers. This is one of good examples which represents traits of request expressions which is related to dynamics of human language triggered by expressional intention which tries to maintain speaker’s authority, dignity and face.
