초록

宣命(せんみょう)라는 어원에서 유래된 宣命書(せんみょうがき)는 엄밀하게 「宣命大書體」와 「宣命 小書體」로 이분할 수 있다. 학자들 사이에 그 성립을 두고 논란이 이어져 왔다. 필자는 이러한 논란은 시야를 일본상대문헌 전반으로 확대시켜서 고찰해야 한다고 생각한다. 祝詞(のりと)는 祭祀와 관련된 것으로 전형적인 문장이 존재하는데 이러한 祝詞의 전형적인 문장이 古事記 에 극히 유사한 문장과 상이한표기양식으로 존재한다. 祝詞는 「宣命小書體」로 古事記 는 「宣命大書體」로 문장을 표기하고 있는데變體漢文體인 古事記 에서는 借字表記의 讀法指示부분을 「宣命大書體」의 문장 사이에 「宣命小書體」 와 같은 형식인 小字로 小書表記한 부분이 존재하는 것이다. 이는 「宣命大書體」와 「宣命小書體」의 영향관계를 극명하게 암시하고 있는 것이다. 또한 萬葉集 에는 「宣命大書體」의 다양한 표기가 나타나는데 이들은 漢字借字表記의 발달단계를 그대로 반영하고 있다. 萬葉集 의 「略体 非略体」의 논란에서는「非略体」가 「略体」에서 유래되었다는 판단이 유력하고 이것을 宣命書의 관점에서 본다면 「非略体」가곧 「宣命大書體」표기인 것이다. 결국 「宣命小書體」는 「宣命大書體」에서 유래하였고 萬葉集 의 「非略 体」표기가 「宣命大書體」와 동일한 표기양식이라면 「宣命大書體」와 「非略体」는 萬葉集 의 「略体」에서 유래한 것으로 정돈된다. 또한 한반도의 吏讀體와 일본의 宣命體의 관련성에 대해서는 推古朝遺文과관련된 「宣命大書體」에 한정되며 「宣命小書體」는 古事記 讀法指示의 小字表記 등에서 힌트를 얻어서 일본 내에서 발달 정착한 것으로 추정된다.

영어초록

The transcription of orders of the King (せんみょうがき) originated from the order of the King (せん みょう) was precisely divided into both large-print and small–print transcription of orders of the King.
There have been many disputes among scholars about how transcription of orders of the King should be arranged. The paper advocates that the disputes should be analyzed by a view of general Japanese documents. Greetings (のりと) were related to rituals with conventional sentences which existed as a different type from similar ones on Kojiki . Greetings were transcription of orders of the King written in small print, while Kojiki , a Chinese variated character style, was transcription of orders of the King written in large print. Kojiki was transcription written in the same small characters print as transcription of orders of the King among transcription of orders of the King in large print for transcription of borrowed characters, which suggested a clear relationship between large and small print transcription of orders of the King. Manyoshu showed various transcriptions of 「large-print transcription of orders of the King」, which reflected the developments of transcription of borrowed Chinese characters. Disputes about 「abbreviated forms or non-abbreviated forms」 of Manyoshu dominated the advocation of 「non-abbreviations」 originated from 「abbreviations」 and from a view of transcription for orders of the King 「non-abbreviations」 became the transcription of 「large-print transcription of orders of the King」. The transcription of orders of the King written in small print was originated from the transcription of orders of the King written in large print. If 「non-abbreviations」 on Manyoshu was the same transcription as 「large-print transcription of orders of the King」, they might be originated from 「abbreviations」. A relationship between the transcription of Adu in Korea and the one of Orders of King in Japan should be confined to 「large-print transcription of orders of the King」 and 「small-print transcription of orders of the King」 might have settled and developed in Japan by getting a hint from the transcription of small characters for Kojiki .
