초록

문학의 언어 가운데 소설이 가장 典範的인 운용 방식을 보여준다. 소설의 언어는 談論의 형태를 띤다. 담론의 형태로 운용되는 소설이 언어는 미적 완결성과 의미적 개방성을 지닌다. 미적 완결성은 형상화로 드러나고, 의미적 개방성은 문학의 사회성을 보증해 준다. 소설언어의 사회성은 多層性과 異質言語性으로 구현된다. 이는 사회의 다층성과 역동성에 對應되는 현상이다.
소설언어를 연구하는 방법론에는 다음 사항들이 포함된다. 담론의 주체는 중립적 존재가 아니다. 의식을 지닌 實踐的 존재이다. 따라서 主體의 意識과 形象化의 관계가 탐구되어야 한다. 소설의 언어는 예술적 언어이기 때문에 형상화 측면이 고려되어야 한다. 소설의 형상화는 散文言語의 특징을 고려해야 정당한 특성을 발견할 수 있다.
우리가 궁극적으로 모색하는 것은 소설의 산문학이며 이는 일종의 문학의 社會詩學을 지향하게 될 것이다. 여기에서 문학과 언어학의 접점도 함께 모색해야 하는 과제가 제안된다.

영어초록

The language of the novel may be most exemplar form in many literary modes. The typical phenotype of novelistic language, it is realized as the form of discourse. Discourses of literature may be prescribed as a concrete linguistic practices of the subjects of literary works. The narrator is the main factor of the textual practises of novelistic discourse. He manipulates the language in the way of evaluation and mediates the linguistic values. In a word, narrator is the mediator of story and the discourse of novelistic text.
The languages of the novel as discourse, are oriented for the aesthetic completion and semantic openness of the interpretation of the text. The aesthetic completion is connected to the con and also it is connected with the semantic openness of the interpretation of the text. The social traits of the novelistic discourse come from the polyphony and heteroglossia in the concept of M.M.Bakhtin. These are equivalent the polyphony and diversity of the society that the text produced from.
For the establishment of the method of novelistic discourse, the terms must be involved in the studying course; the problem of the con- sciousness of the subject of the discourse as a subject with consciousness and practices. And we must consider the configurational way of the text, that it is a prose art and, because the novel is a kind of verbal art. The ideological traits of novelistic discourse and the peculiar way of literary communication, they are most important points for the study of literary discourse.
It may be said, the final goal of we want to reach is the prosaics of the novel genre, in the result the sociopoetics of prose fiction. In addition, I want to suggest an agenda that the cooperation of linguistics and the study of literature.
