범주강삼각주지역의 한국어교육 현황과 과제-4년제 대학의 한국어교육을 중심으로- (A Research on the Current Situation and Tasks of Korean Education in the Pan Pearl River Delta Region -A Case Study of Korean Education in Four-year Universities-)

초록

범주강삼각주지역(泛珠江三角洲地区)의 한국어 관련 학과는 대부분 10년 미만의 짧은 역사에도 불구하고 지역 경제발전 가속화에 따른 한국어 인재 수요로 인해 그동안 비교적 큰발전을 이루어왔다. 지역 내 한국어 관련 학과를 개설한 대학만 하여도 32개에 이를 정도로양적인 면에서 큰 발전을 이루어 왔는데 이제는 질적인 향상을 위해 지역 내 한국어 관련 학과의 전반적인 운영 현황을 점검하고 앞으로의 지속적인 발전 방안을 모색해야 할 시점이라고 생각한다. 본고에서는 필자의 다년간에 걸친 한국어 교육현장 경험과 이 지역 내의 비교적대표적인 11개 대학을 상대로 실시한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 하여 범주강삼각주지역에 한국어 관련 학과 개설의 필요성, 한국어 관련 학과의 분포현황에 대해 점검을 하였고, 교수진 구성에 있어서 중국인 교수와 한국인 교수의 비율, 고급직함 소유자, 박사학위 소지자 그리고석사학위 소지자의 비율, 교사와 재학생의 비율 등에 대해 논의를 하였으며, 교과과정, 학생모집, 취업, 학술교류 등 한국어교육 현황에 대해 분석을 하였다. 중한 수교 이후 한국어 관련학과가 기하급수적으로 발전해 오면서 적지 않은 학자들이 한국어 관련 학과 발전의 불투명한 미래에 대해 우려를 해왔는데, 필자는 현재 범주강삼각주지역의 한국어 관련 학과의 재학생 규모, 정원 충원율, 제1지망 지원율, 취업률, 학술 연구 활동 등 통계수치를 바탕으로 이지역의 한국어 관련 학과가 현재까지는 비교적 양호한 발전 양상을 보이고 있음을 제시하였다. 그리고 이 지역 한국어교육의 미래 발전 대안과 과제로 우수 교수진 확보와 교사 지원,원어민 교수 자원 적극 활용, 한국 자매대학과의 교류협력관계 활성화, 학과 실습기지를 적극구축하여 산업체와의 연계교육 실시, 맞춤형 인재 양성을 위한 교과과정의 재편성, 계획적인대외홍보활동을 통해 신입생 적극 유치 등에 대해 논의를 하였다.

영어초록

With the increasingly development of the regional economy and urgentdemand for Korean talents, majors related to Korean in the Pan Pearl RiverDelta region which only experienced the development of less than ten years,has witnessed a great development in a short period. At present, 32 collegesin this region have established majors related to Korean, which are goingthrough a transitional period from quantitative change to qualitative change.
Therefore, it is necessary to review the general development of related majorsof Korean in this region and explore strategies of sustainable development insuch a key period. Based on the author's years of work experience in Koreanteaching and statistics collected from a questionnaire survey carried out in 11representative colleges in this region, this paper illustrates the necessity of theestablishment of majors related to Korean in this region and the regionaldistribution of related majors of Korean, studies and discusses the ratio ofChinese teachers and Korean teachers, the proportion of associate professors,doctors, and postgraduates among the specialized teaching staff and relatedissues, and analyzes the present development situation of related majors ofKorean in terms of subjects and curricula, enrollment and employment, academic exchange, etc.. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties betweenChina and Korea, majors related to Korean develop rapidly. However, someexperts show their worries to the vague future of these majors' development.
In light of the scale of college students of Korean and related majors, the ratedstudent registration rate, first choice application rate, employment rate,academic research, etc.. in the Pan Pearl River Delta region, the author pointsout that the development of majors related to Korean in this region enjoys sound momentum currently. Meanwhile, developmental tasks of majors relatedto Korean are also expounded in this paper. The author believes that the futuredevelopment of majors related to Korean in this region facing lots of tasksincluding ensuring high-quality teaching team, making the best of foreignteacher resources, strengthening academic exchange with Korean partnercolleges as well as university-industry collaboration, cultivating talentsthrough directed training and promoting the publicity to guarantee the newstudent-resources.
