한국어 祖語가 한자 창제에 미친 영향 - ‘丯聲’系字 고대한국어 대응관계를 중심으로 - (The Influence of Korean early language on the Creation of Chinese Characters - Based on the Relationship between The “丯sound” Bundle of Letters and the Ancient Korean Language -)

초록

風의 上古音은 ‘ᄇᆞᄅᆞᆷ’, 器의 上古音은 ‘그릇’처럼 한자의 上古音과 고대한국어가 서로 같거나 비슷하다는 주장이 여러 학자들에 의해 제기되었다. 이들 주장에 따르면, 上古音에 複聲母가 대량으로 존재함이 제기되었고, 더 나아가 고대중국어와 고대한국어 간 語彙의 借用 문제가 대두되었다. 하지만 몇 개의 어휘를 가지고 차용인지 여부를 언급하는 것 자체가 문제가 될 수도 있으므로, 漢-韓 어휘들 간에 체계적인 대응 관계를 찾아 이를 근거로 차용 여부를 살펴봐야 할 필요성이 제기되었다.
이러한 필요성에 입각해서 연구한 오세준은 ‘諧聲’系字를 통해 上古音과 고대한국어와의 체계적인 대응 관계를 찾아내었다. 필자는 오세준의 연구 방법을 이용해서 관련 연구를 진행한 결과, 수많은 ‘諧聲’系字의 上古音이 고대한국어와 체계적 대응관계를 이루고 있음을 발견하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 지면 관계 상 ‘丯聲’系字, ‘㓞聲’系字, ‘契聲’系字의 상고음과 고대한국어의 체계적 대응과 그 함의에 대해 살펴봤다.
여기서 더 나아가 ‘諧聲’系字 내에서 발음 상 이중성을 가지고 있는 발음들, 예를 들면 (얼굴을) ‘가리-다’, (맛을) ‘가리-다’ 등과 같은 경우들이 상당 수 존재함을 발견하게 되었다. 이런 경우에 해당하는 ‘諧聲字’들을 단지 ‘諧聲’으로만 설명하기에는 부족했다. 이 부분에 대해서는 향후 더 많은 연구와 논의가 필요하다고 여겨진다. ‘諧聲’系字의 상고음과 고대한국어가 체계적으로 대응하고 있다는 점은 두 가지 가능성을 내포한다. 하나는 ‘諧聲’系字에 해당하는 어휘군을 통째로 차용했을 가능성이고, 다른 하나는 상고음 시기(혹은 그 이전)에 해당하는 한국어 조어(祖語)가 한자 창제에 영향을 끼쳤을 가능성이다. 어떤 어휘군을 통째로 차용할 가능성은 희박해보이므로, 필자는 후자의 가능성이 더 높다고 판단하여 한국어 祖語가 한자 창제에 영향을 끼쳤을 가능성을 제시해본다.

영어초록

The Ancient Chinese sound for 風 is 'borom(ᄇᆞᄅᆞᆷ)', and the Ancient Chinese sound for 器 is 'krit(그릇)', and it has been revealed by several scholars that it is the same as or similar to the Korean native language. As further research on this continues, there will be more such examples. These findings proved the existence of initial consumers in the Ancient Chinese sound in large quantities, and further raised the issue of borrowing of the language. However, since it may be problematic to mention whether or not it is borrowed with a few words, we will have to find a systematic correspondence relationship between the Chinese-Korean vocabulary and based onthis, we will have to look at whether or not it is borrowed.
Oh Se-jun, who studied based on these problems, found a systematic correspondence between Ancient Chinese sound and Korean through 'harmonious sound' clusters. As a result of conducting research related to this using Oh's research method, I found that numerous Old Chinese sound formed a systematic correspondence with ancient Korean. In this paper, we examined the ancient sounds of '丯 sound' bundle of letters, '㓞 sound' bundle of letters, and '契 sound' bundle of letters and the systematic response and im-plications of ancient Korean.
In addition, pronunciations that have dual meaning, such as 'kari-da(cover)' for the face and 'kari-da(sort out)' for the taste, came to the conclusion that the national language, which freelyutilized and spoke these different pronunciations and vocabulary, must have influenced the invention of Chinese characters. It is almost impossible to borrow and use all these vocabulary words systematically at once. In this part, it is believed that more research and discussions in the future.
The fact that the ancient sound of the 'similar sound' bundle of letters and the Korean language systematically respond implies two possibilities. One is the possibility of borrowing the entire 'similar sound' bundle of letters, and the other is the possibility that the Ancient Korean language corresponding to the Old Chinese sound period (or before) influenced the creation of Chinese characters. Since the possibility of borrowing an entire vocabulary group seems unlikely, I would like to judge that the latter is more likely, and suggest the possibility that the Ancient Korean language influenced the creation of Chinese characters
