양경우의 시관(詩觀) 연구 - 『제호시화』에 사용한 비평용어를 중심으로 (A study on Yang Kyung-woo's view of poetry - Focusing on the critical terms used in 『Jehoshihwa』)

초록

본 연구는 제호 양경우가 『제호시화』를 통해 보인 자신의 시관을 그가 사용한 품평적 비평용어를 활용하여 구체적으로 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그의 시관과 유관한 품평적 비평은, 용사에 대한 평가, 향렴체 비판과 국풍시 옹호, 안자(安字)의 역설(力說)이며, 이 세 부분은 상호 연관되어 그의 시관을 일이관지(一以貫之)한다.
양경우는 용사를 시작(詩作)에 있어 필수불가결한 수사법으로 간주하였지만 표절 수준의 용사는 가차 없이 비판하였고 그에 상응하는 품평어를 스스로 만들어 용사활용을 평가했으니, 용사에 대한 양경우의 관심 정도를 충분히 알 수 있다. 이에 따라 전고를 활용하되 절차탁마를 통해 정교하고 창의적인 시어 조성에 심혈을 기울인 장인형 시인을 지향한 그에게 최고의 시인은 단연 성당 시인 두보였다.
양경우는 국풍시(國風詩)와 향렴체(香奩體) 시를 대척점에 놓고 당나라 성당 시인 두보와 이백을 그에 맞춰 평가하였는데, 양경우가 살았던 시대의 시인들인 손곡 이달 시를 비판하고 석주 권필 시를 찬양한 것과 유관하다. 향렴체 시는 방탕하고 정에 치우치는 시로 평가 절하한 반면 국풍시는 사회비판적인 애민시로 높이 평가했다. 시의 본질적인 기능을 풍교(風敎)로 본 것이고 그런 점에서도 두보를 시인의 사표로 보았으며 정치풍자시로 인해 귀양지로 가다 죽은 권필의 시정신을 두보시의 국풍정신과 동질의 것으로 보았다. 용사를 통해 형식의 완결성을 말했다면 국풍시의 지향을 통해 작가정신을 문제 삼았으며, 두보와 권필을 이 두 가지 점에서 다 탁월한 시인으로 추앙한 것이다.
안자(安字)는 양경우의 조어로 가장 적절한 글자나 표현을 적소에 쓰는 것을 의미한다. 두보는 한편의 시를 짓고 나면 세광주리의 파지가 나왔으며, 자신의 시어가 독자를 놀라게 하지 않는 한 시 다듬는 것을 멈추지 않았다 하는데 이는 결국 시어의 절차탁마를 통해 안자를 추구한 것이며 결국 시정신을 완결하는 것으로 귀결된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze and clarify the poetic view of Jeho shown by Jeho Yang Gyeong-woo in JehoSihwa by utilizing the critical terminology he used.
Yang Gyeong-woo is a poet who left behind such masterpieces that he was mentioned in Heo Gyun's Gukjo-sisan, and poetry occupies the largest proportion in his collection of works Jehojip.
Therefore, the reason why Yang Gyeong-woo wrote 『Jehosihwa』 , a poetry criticism book, was because of his interest in poetry, and his interest in poetry ensures that Yang Gyeong-woo's view of poetry on what poetry is and what it should be is clearly established. In 『Jehosihwa』, poems related to his view of poetry occupy a large proportion, and even poems that seem unrelated to his view of poetry on the surface converge to his view of poetry in many cases.
Although Jeho did not describe his view of poetry in direct words, his view on poetry clearly exists. What this study discovered as a clue to establish Jeho's poetic view is the critical terminology he used while evaluating poetry in Jehosihwa . Using this critical term, he presented the method of poetry and discussed the spirit of poetry, and stated that the method of poetry and the spirit of poetry should be combined, so his perspective on poetry and his identity as a critic are contained within it.
Since Yang Gyeong-woo's view of poetry is both his view of life and his view of poetry, it must be preceded by it in order to judge his aspect and poetic inclination. His poems included in the Jehojip can also be properly and richly analyzed only if you have an understanding of his poetic views. There are many poems that meticulously follow the procedures through a radical transformation of warrior techniques, poems that criticize political forces and recite the joys and sorrows of the people, and this is because they have an organic relationship with his view of poetry.
The reason why his status as a critic and poet received relatively less attention compared to his literary talents was because he was a illegitimate son and a person from the Honam region who was somewhat neglected, his position was limited even at the time, and this fact has had a certain amount of influence in modern times. Because I hit it.
Jeho's father was Yang Dae-bak, who was famous as a leader of the righteous army, and people who were close to him all appear in Je-ho's poetry. They are all noteworthy figures as literary figures of the Mokreugseongse., and the topography of character relationships in the Honam region may also receive attention again. In addition, it can be helpful in research on the Namwon region and the Honam region as a result of information about local writers that cannot be found anywhere else.
