야두국의 위치와 韓-낙랑 문물 교류에서의 역할 (Yadu State’s Location and Role in Cultural Exchange between Han and Lelang)

초록

이 글은 야두국을 통해 韓과 중원 세력(낙랑군 포함) 간의 근거리 교역의 한 형태를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 야두국은 『漢書』 지리지에는 야두매현으로 언급되어 있는데, 영동 7현 중 하나로 낙랑군 동부도위에 소속되었다가 후한 대에 후국으로 전환된 국가이다. 100년경에 許愼이 쓴 『說文解字』에 야두국으로 언급되어 있다.
야두국은 『설문해자』에서 민어와 새우가 나온다고 한 점에서 황해에 접근하기 쉬운 임진강 일대에 있었음을 추정할 수 있다. 임진강 유역은 동북한과 같은 문화권에 속했기 때문에 동부도위에 함께 묶였던 것이다. 특히 임진강 하류의 장단 지역은 고구려 때 약(야)두치현이었다고 전하여 야두국으로 비정할 만하다. 또한 지금의 영동 개념은 고려 말 이후의 것으로, 1~3세기 무렵에는 낙랑 동남쪽의 경계는 태백산맥이 아닌 마식령산맥이었다. 특히 영동의 예는 후한 말에 고구려에 복속되었다고 하는데, 임진강 및 강원 서부 일대에는 고구려의 대표적인 무덤인 적석총과 유사한 무덤이 확인된다. 이러한 야두국은 예족으로 언급되어있으나 크게 보면 예맥의 하나였으며 맥으로 지칭된 경기 동부 및 강원 일대의 ○○매 세력과도 같은 계통이었다.
임진강 일대를 포함한 경기·강원 일대에서는 낙랑(계) 문물이 많이 확인되고 있어 야두국 등 예맥 지역으로 유입된 낙랑 문물이 韓 지역으로도 유입되었음을 유추할 수 있다. 야두국은 『삼국사기』 백제본기의 말갈과 관련이 있어 보이는데, 『삼국사기』의 예맥계 세력의 활동 양상을 통해 전쟁, 주민 이주, 평화적 교류 등 다양한 방법에 의해 예맥 지역으로 유입된낙랑 문물이 한에도 전해졌을 것으로 보인다.

영어초록

This article attempted to reveal a type of short-range trade between han and the chinese forces(including the lelang county) through the yadu state. Yadu state is mentioned as yadumae-prefecture in the hanshu geography, and it is one of the seven prefectures in yeongdong, belonging to the eastern duwei of lelang county, and was converted into a marquisate in the late han dynasty. It is mentioned as yadu state in the shuowenjiezi written by xushen in 100.
Yadu state can be presumed to have been in the imjin river area, which is easy to access the yellow sea, given that croaker and shrimp come from the shuowenjiezi. The imjin river basin was included in the eastern duwei because it belonged to the same culture as the northeast korea. In particular, jangdan, located in the lower reaches of the imjin river, is said to have been yak(ya)duchi-hyeon during the goguryeo period, so it can be said that yadu state was located. In addition, the scope of yeongdong, which is now referred to, was an idea after the late goryeo dynasty, and around the 1st-3rd centuries, the boundary of the southeast of lerang was the masikryeong mountain range, not the taebaek mountain range. In particular, it is said that the ye in yeongdong belonged to goguryeo at the end of the later han dynasty, and tombs similar to the stone mound tomb, a representative tomb of goguryeo, are being investigated the imjin river area and western gangwon-do. These yadu state are mentioned as ye tribe, but in general, they were part of yemaek and were also the same clan as the ○○mae forces in eastern gyeonggi-do and gangwon-do, which were referred to as the maek.
Many lerang(& lerang type) cultures are being investigated in gyeonggi and gangwon areas, including the imjin river area, so it can be inferred that lerang cultures, which entered the yemaek area, flowed back into the han area. Yadu state seems to be related to the malgal in the samguksagi baekjebongi, and through the activities of the yemaek forces in the samguksagi, lerang cultures that entered into the yemaek area through various methods such as war, residents migration, and peaceful exchanges seems to have been transmitted to han.
