초록

This thesis intended to find traces that North Korean novels accepted myths for Kim, Jung Il’s imagery and reveal that various materials must be ultimately leased for Kim, Jung Il's imagery of mother instinctive love in short novels in 1980s. In 「Blessing of life」 which is North Korean short novel considered to be closed the mythical acception the mostly, the motif used for Kim, Jung Il’s imagery was similar to the motif of 「Dangkeumaegi」 which is narrative Shaman song. The sacredness of myth is a material which can be grafted sufficiently for Kim, Jung Il’s deification. Especially, North Korean literature of 1980s focuses on Kim, Jung Il's feminine affection, so the acception of myths should be sufficiently examined.
North Korean literature shows clear differences by periods. Its reason is the actuality of North Korean literature world which must be unilaterally accepted to changed policy of literature. North Korean literature of 1980s selected various materials, but the subject was still the establishment of self-reliance ideology and focused imagery of Kim, Il Sung’s family. After the middle stage of 1960s, policies of party focused on establishment and solidification of self-reliance ideology, so the filed of North Korean art was used as the most effective tool for party’s policies. Furthermore, literature became a tool for the subjectivation of Kim, Il Sung’s family. In 1980s, Kim, Il Sung’s instruction to use heros similar to actual characters and write novels similar actual life was continuously gotten. Meanwhile, characters’ internal conflicts, affection problems, etc. started to be visualized and detailed description closed to actual life started to be reflected. If North Korea focused on the solidification of self-reliance ideology in 1970s, they focused on artistic imagery for stabilizing completed self-reliance ideology in 1980s. At the peak, there is short novels’ grasping of variety. While the variety of works was grasped, it’s not accidential to discover mythic traces in Kim, Jung Min’s 「Blessing of life」 while grasping variety of works. But, it can be a crude trial to judge intervention of myth in North Korean novels by analyzing only Kim, Jung Min’s work. But, it can be expected to provide important point for interpreting direction or stream of Kim, Il Sung family’s imagery in 1980s. North Korean short novel, 「Blessing of life」, cannot be represented for the whole North Korean short novels of 1980s, but it’s very significant because mythic description of the novels of Ro, Jung Bub or An, Dong Chun has clear point from the aspect of grasping North Korean short novels’ variety in 1980s.
