초록

세계평화통일가정연합은 2004년 4월 19일 안착 시의의 날(the Day of Settlement and Attendance)을 제정하였다. 안착 시의의 날은 약칭하여 안시일(安侍日)로 교단 내에서 불리고 있다. 유대교의 안식일 전승에 대한 세계평화통일가정연합의 새로운 이해가 바로 안시일이라고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 이해는 구약(舊約)시대의 유대교와 신약(新約)시대의 기독교, 성약(成約)시대의 세계평화통일가정연합이라고 하는 교단 내의 신의 섭리에 관한 인식에 근거하고 있다.
세계평화통일가정연합에서 신앙생활의 예법으로 중시되는 경배식은 주일에 거행되었으나, 안시일 제정 이후 주일이 아닌 안시일에 거행되고 있다. 본 논문은 세계평화통일가정연합의 안시일의 제정 배경을 이해하고, 안시일이 어떠한 신앙적 의미로 기념되고 있는지 살펴보고 있다.

영어초록

The Jewish Sabbath is observed throughout the year on the seventh day of the week. According to biblical tradition, it commemorates the original seventh day on which God rested after completing the creation. The notion of the Sabbath as a holy day of rest, linking God to his people and recurring every seventh day, was unique to ancient Israel.
Christians believe that Sunday (the Christian Sabbath) should be observed in accordance with the Fourth Commandment, which forbids work on the Sabbath because it is a holy day. Some other Christians have contended that the Fourth Commandment was a part of the Hebrew ceremonial, not moral, law. They believe that this law was entirely abolished by Jesus Christ, whose Resurrection on the first day of the week established a new kind of day, characterized by worship rather than absence of work. In Christianity there are many shades of opinion between these two views.
From the viewpoint of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (hereinafter called FFWPU), the realities of ideal world are not simply in hands of humans alone but are determined by the providence of God and the fulfillment of the responsibility of humans. FFWPU has a strong desire to accomplish an ideal relationship of between God and humans in the Kingdom of God. FFWPU holds Sunday Service weekly like other churches, but every eighth day as Ahn Shi Il is a special Family Pledge service. The celebration of Ahn Shi Il (the Day of Settlement and Attendance) is a way to try to perfect an ideal family in the life of faith.
