초록

본 연구는 학계 및 교계를 비롯한 국가의 교육적 · 현실적 요청에 부응하고 연구자의 학제 간 연구경험을 바탕으로 하여 우리나라 영유아 보육 및 교육 발전에 공헌할 수 있는 연구주제로 ‘코메니우스와 돌토의 영유아 이해에 기초한 보편적 · 전인적인 영유아 보육의 방향을 제안한다. 본 연구의 목표는 17세기에 이미 영유아교육의 초석을 놓은 코메니우스(J. A. Comenius, 1592-1670)의 영유아 교육사상에 나타난 영유아 이해와 20세기의 코페르니쿠스적 발견이라 불리는 정신분석학의 유산을 소아과학과 접목하여 아동 정신분석 및 아동 교육에 지대한 공헌을 한 돌토(F. Dolto, 1908-1988)의 영유아 이해를 기초로 하여 영유아가 주체가 되는 보편적· 전인적인 영유아 보육 및 교육을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구자는 본 연구의 결과물로서, 첫째로 영적 존재로서의 영유아가 주체가 되는 보편적 ․ 전인적인 영유아 보육 및 교육, 둘째로 자연적 존재로서의 영유아가 주체가 되는 보편적 ․ 전인적인 영유아 보육 및 교육, 셋째로 교육적 ․ 언어적 존재로서의 영유아가 주체가 되는 보편적 ․ 전인적인 영유아 보육 및 교육에의 새로운 방향을 제시하였다.

영어초록

This study attempts to explore the new direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare based on Comenius' and Dolto's understanding of the infant. J. A. Comenius(1592-1670) is a pioneer of infant education. F. Dolto(1908-1988) is a unique and creative infant psychoanalyst in France.
This study explores the possibility of encounter between Comenius' understanding of the infant with three christian educational perspectives and Dolto's understanding of the infant with three psychoanalytic perspectives. In this study, Tracy's method would prove the necessity of interdisciplinary dialogue between Comenius' christian educational thoughts of the infant and the psychoanalytic perspectives of the infant.
An attempt and challenge to dialogue between infant education and psychoanalysis is unusual and rare in the academic field of christian education. This interdisciplinary dialogue will be facilitated to lead into making an academic discourse between infant education and psychoanalysis. Ultimately, this interdisciplinary dialogue focuses on the direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare for happy life and welfare of our next generation who will carry on their back the future of christian and national community.
This study, as a result, gives an insightful knowledge to set up the new direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare. Namely, 1) the new direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare for the infant as a subject of spiritual being with God's image 2) the new direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare for the infant as a subject of nature being 3) the new direction toward a universal and holistic infant educare for the infant as a subject of educational and linguistic being. In front of the pressing challenges of the 21st century, this study will encourage the infant educare to shift toward three dimensions of the new direction. The purpose, the tasks and the contents of a universal and holistic infant educare should be suggested by succeeding researches.
