초록

본고에서 고찰하는 『전가보묵』을 통하여 연안이씨 가문의 家學的 배경과 조선후기 명문가로서의 전통, 그리고 연안이씨 가문의 정신사적 유산들을 조명해 보고자 하였다. 이 논증을 진행하기 위해 먼저 『전가보묵』 전편을 탈초하고 국역하였으며, 개략적인 내용을 도표로 제시하였다. 또한 연안이씨의 계보와 정치·사회적 위상을 고찰하였으며, 조선후기 기호남인으로 분류되는 연안이씨 李觀徵 家의 행적들과 영남사림의 핵심가문으로 성장해가는 과정 속에 저술활동을 통한 일련의 학술적 성과들을 살펴보고자 하였다. 특별히 『전가보묵』을 통하여 조선시대 지식인들의 일상적 글쓰기 형태와 더불어 연안이씨 가문의 가학의 연원과 인물들의 내면세계를 이해하는데 중점을 두었다.
朝鮮時代의 簡札은 발신자와 수신자 사이의 유일본으로서 일차사료인 동시에 학술적 자료로서 원 사료에 해당한다. 또한 전통시대를 이해하는 모든 학술 분야의 기초자료로서 역사적 고증의 단초를 제공하기도 한다. 본고의 연구목적은 간찰의 분석을 통해 官撰史書나 文集 등의 저술에서 간과되었던 행적과 학술적 소재들을 고찰하고 조선후기 지식인들의 일상적 글쓰기 행태와 더불어 지적교류 양상을 이해하고자 함에 있다.
본고에서 고찰하고자 하는 『傳家寶墨-春·夏·秋·冬』은 연안이씨 식산종택의 가전 簡札帖으로서 원소장자가 상주시 소재 식산종택의 10대 宗孫 李庸德인데, 현재는 안동의 한국국학진흥원 자료연구실에 기탁되어 있다. 이 간찰첩은 연안이씨 이관징 가에서 8대에 걸쳐 이루어진 기록물로서 발신자만 대략 18명으로 약 200여 년간에 걸쳐 이루어진 것들이다. 그동안 李萬敷 후손 家에서 家莊手本으로 전해오던 것을 엮어서 성첩한 簡札筆帖이다. 또한 연안이씨 가문의 여타한 문집에도 동일한 내용이 실려 있지 않은 매우 희소성이 있는 자료일 뿐만 아니라 한 家門에서 8대에 걸친 선조들의 간찰들을 모아 성첩한 사례는 매우 이례적인 것으로서 국내외에서도 유사한 사례를 찾기가 쉽지 않은 기록문화유산이다.

영어초록

A brief letter of Joseon Dynasty is one-and-only copy between a sender and a recipient. It is the first historical material and an academic material and it corresponds the original historical material. It is also a basic material of all academic fields in understanding the traditional era and it provides a clue of a historical research.
The purpose of this study is in examining the behavior and academic materials that were overlooked in the writings of the official history books and the textbooks through the analysis of a brief letter. The purpose of this study is also in understanding the aspect of intellectual interchange with the everyday writing behaviors of late Joseon intellectuals.
A precious ink conveyed in the family- Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter investigated in this paper is the brief letter conveyed in Yeonan Yi family of the Siksan head house. Its original holder is Yi Yongdeok, the tenth eldest grandson of the head family situated in Sangju city. It is deposited in the data laboratory of the Korean Studies Advancement Center in Andong.
This brief letter is a record made through eight consecutive years in the Yi Guanjing family of Yeonan Yi family with about 18 authors, over 200 years old. It is a brief letter made by compiling books conveyed with a handbook by the descendant family of Yi manbu in the meantime. it is also a very rare datum that the same content was not recorded in other anthologies of the Yeonan Yi family. It is very unusual to collect and compile brief letters of the ancestors through eight generations from one family. It is a cultural heritage that is not easy to find a similar example in Korea and other countries.
In this paper, I tried to illuminate the study background of the Yeonan Yi family, the tradition as a prestigious family in the late Joseon period, and the spiritual and historical heritage of the Yeonan Yi family through a precious ink conveyed in the family.
In order to carry out this argument, I first deciphered the cursive script of a whole book contained in a precious ink and translated in Korean. I presented the rough content with a chart. I investigated the genealogy, political and social status of the Yeonan Yi family. I tried to investigate the whereabouts of Yi Guanjing family of Yeonan Yi family classified as Gyeonggi and Chungcheong noblemen and an academic achievement. I also tried to investigate a series of an academic achievements through writing activity in the course of growing as a core family of Yeongnam noblemen.
Especially, I focused on the daily writing style of the intellectuals of Joseon Dynasty through a precious ink conveyed in the family. I also focused on understanding of the origin of family study and the inner world of characters and characters of the Yeonan Yi family.
