초록

This research paper was written in order to study the types of the negative sentence-contexts and it's characteristics in Nammyeong's all poetry. So this research paper consists of four chapters: the negative sentence-contexts of cause-effect and it's characteristics, the negative sentence-contexts of contrast and it's characteristics, the negative sentence-contexts of enumerating and it's characteristics, the negative sentence-contexts of subject- predicate and it's characteristics. Because there are four kinds of types in the context between the negative sentences and positive sentences in Nammyeong's all poetry: those are contexts of cause-effect, contrast, enumerating, subject-predicate.
The first chapter: the negative sentence-contexts of cause-effect and it's characteristics. In this chapter he articulated his daily life as a Confucian scholar most often through cause-effect contexts. But he articulated his politician interests, Confucian thought and interests in nature fewer than his daily life even though he was a Confucian scholar. And this context was used the later part of his poetry. He expressed mainly the loss of his daily life and politician interests as a Confucian scholar by using this context. and partly expressed his pleasure with Confucian ideology and nature object.
The second chapter: the negative sentence-contexts of contrast and it's characteristics. In this context, the politician interests which he had as a Confucian scholar were expressed most often with the daily life things being expressed less than it. And the contents are the contradictions between human being's things(the politician interests and the daily life things being) and nature phenomena. The contradictions stemmed from the relationships between the adversity of human being's things and prosperity of nature phenomena.
The third chapter: the negative sentence-contexts of enumerating and it's characteristics. In this context, the daily life things being and the politician interests which he had as a Confucian scholar were expressed most often with similar quarters. This context was used in the front parts of poetry. And it functioned to make the mood of poetry work with the bad situations getting worse.
The fourth chapter: the negative sentence-contexts of subject- predicate and it's characteristics. In this context, the daily life things being and the politician interests which he had as a Confucian scholar were expressed most often with similar quarters just like before. In the case of the daily life things being, the subjects are the comparing thing or the persona with predicative of undoing. In the case of the politician interests, the subjects are the comparing thing or the objective phenomena with the predicatives of without doing for prosperity in society.
Lastly, in total numbers the contexts of cause-effect were used most often and the contexts of contrast were used fewer then the contexts of cause-effect, with the contexts of enumerating and subject-predicate being used fewer in turn. Nammyeong tried to express his various emotions and thoughts more effectively by using those kinds of contexts. he articulated his daily life and politician interests as a Confucian scholar most often through these contexts. But he articulated his Confucian thought and interests in nature fewer than his daily life and politician interests as a Confucian scholar.
