<나무꾼과 선녀>에 대한 중국인 학생 A, B의 다시쓰기 사례의 특성과 그 문학치료학적 의미 (The Characteristics of Rewriting Case of Chinese Students and the Literary Therapeutics’ Meaning on )

초록

본고는 중국인 학생의 구비설화에 대한 다시쓰기 사례를 살펴보고 거기에서 나타나는 특징이 무엇인지 확인하여 그것의 문학치료학적 의미를 탐색하고자 하는 데 목표를 두고 있다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 구비설화 <나무꾼과 선녀>를 기본 자료로 삼았다.
먼저 2장에서는 두 학생의 사례를 주목하였는데, 이를 각각 A, B로 명명하였다. A, B는 <나무꾼과 선녀>의 줄거리 요약 결과를 보면 적어도 <나무꾼과 선녀>가 보여주는 서사적 흐름에 대해서는 기억하고 이해하고 있는 것으로 보였다. 그런데 두 학생의 <나무꾼과 선녀>에 대한 다시쓰기를 한 결과에서는 매우 특이한 점이 발견된다. <나무꾼과 선녀>의 서사적 핵심은 나무꾼과 선녀 사이에 내재되어 있는 불신 때문에 그 관계를 지속하지 못한다는 데 있다. 그런데 A과 B는 선녀와 나무꾼의 관계보다는 나무꾼과 사슴의 관계에 집중하였고, 심지어 나무꾼과 사슴의 결혼담으로 이야기를 확장시켰다.
3장에서는 2장에서 드러난 사례의 특징이 드러나게 된 원인을 분석한 것이다. 분석 결과, A과 B의 다시쓰기 결과는 중국의 <백사전>과 비슷한 서사흐름을 보였다. 이에 두 학습자가 <나무꾼과 선녀>의 서사와 멀어진 이유는, <백사전>의 간섭 때문이라고 보았다. <백사전>의 서사가 두 학습자에게 익숙해 있어, <나무꾼과 선녀>이 지향하는 서사보다는 <백사전>의 서사를 선호하는 경향성을 보인 것이다.
그러므로 중국인 학생들을 대상으로 한국문학작품을 활용한 문학활동을 시행할 적에, 무조건적인 적응보다는 중국인 학생들의 자기서사적 편향은 어떠한지 이해할 때 <나무꾼과 선녀>에 대한 접속도 가능해질 것으로 본다.

영어초록

This article aimed to focus on the case of Chinese students in their characteristics of rewriting and literary therapeutics’meaning in the folk tale <The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden> First, I suggested the cases of two learners, and called these henceforth A and B. The learners A and B showed us the bland characters about the plot summary of <The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden>. However, in the result of rewriting about the <The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden> of the two learners, very unusual points is found. The descriptive key point of <The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden> is that their relationship would not last because of distrust which was inherent between The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden. But the case A and case B showed the result that the relationship of the heavenly maiden and the woodcutter was not receiving attention. the relationship of the Heavenly Maiden and the Woodcutter was not emphasized on, but rather A and B concentrated more on the relationship between the Woodcutter and the deer even to the extent of expanding to the wedding story of the Woodcutter and the deer.
Second, I analyzed the cause of the characterization evident in these two cases.. As the result, the outcome of the rewriting from the case A and case B showed the flow of description similar to<Madame White Snake> of China. And, the reason that these two learners could not understand the point of <The Wood cutter and the Heavenly Maiden> was because of the interference of <Madame White Snake>. These two learners are to be preoccupied with the collateral element and did not understand the major theme in <The Woodcutter and the Heavenly Maiden> because they are more familiar with the descriptions of <Madame White Snake>.
So, to improve the ability of Korean writing, especially in the ability of description, the first thing the Chinese learners must realize is that they should know what is the epic intervening and interfering in them. Additionally, the learning implications to Korean education include considering the individual character plus the descriptive character which is contained in the literary culture of their motherland.
