초록

본 연구는 대학 교양 글쓰기 영역에서 실시되는 자기 성찰적 글쓰기 수업의 한 모형으로 <편견일지> 쓰기 프로그램을 제안하는 것이 그 목적이다. <편견일지> 쓰기 프로그램 설계의 주요 목적은 자기 서사 글쓰기에서 자기계발식 계몽적 서사에 익숙한 대학생들의 사유 방식을 지양하고 성찰을 통해 자존감을 회복시키기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서는 자기 성찰 과정에도 비판적 사회문화 인식을 결합해 내야 한다는 것이 주요 논점이다. ‘편견’은 사회정치적 권력 담론의 자장 안에서 구성된 비합리적 인식으로, 이것에 대한 합리적 비판은 자기 삶 속에서 사회철학적 인식을 수행하는 성찰적 글쓰기에 적합한 제재가 될 수 있다. 또한 편견을 비판적으로 사유할 수 있을 때, 비로소 인간의 존엄성에 대한 사유를 수행할 수 있으며 이를 통해 진정한 자존감이 구성될 수 있다고 판단했다.
이처럼 성찰이 이성적 성찰이 매개가 되어야 하는 과정이라는 의미에서 본 프로그램은 글감 선정 과정에서부터 어느 정도의 학술적 학습의 과정을 거치도록 설계하였다. 또한 ‘성찰’은 완결된 것이 아니라, 끊임없는 자기 사유의 해체를 수행할 때 가능한 것이기 때문에, 후기 구조주의 인식론을 기반으로 한 ‘사회 과정 중심 글쓰기 이론’을 결합시켰다.
특히 면담 과정에서는 데리다가 주장한 서구중심 인식론의 이항대립을 해체하기 위한 질문법을 활용하여, 학생들이 다루는 ‘편견’이 사회의 권력 구조 내부에서 구성된 이원적 관념의 일종이라는 점을 인식시키도록 하였다. 또한 성찰이 끊임없이 수행되어야 할 사회철학적 인식태도라는 점을 강조하기 위해 글쓰기를 지도할 때 문제가 해결된 계몽적 서사가 아니라, 끊임없이 자기 사유를 해체하는 열려진 결말로 유도하도록 하였다.
이러한 과정을 통하여 <편견일지> 프로그램은 주관적 인식의 영역으로만 치우칠 수 있는 성찰적 글쓰기 과정에 사회철학적 인식을 강화하고 학생들 스스로가 자기 삶 속에서 사유의 자기 주도성을 확보해 내도록 유도하기 위한 방안이 될 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a writing program of <Prejudice Diary>. The main purpose of the program design is to avoid the thinking methods of college students who are familiar with self-developmental enlightenment narratives in self-narrative writing and to restore self-esteem through reflection. The main point of this is that the critical social and cultural awareness should be combined with the self-reflection process. 'Prejudice' is an irrational recognition composed in the magnetic field of social and political power discourse, and can be a suitable material for reflective writing that carries out social philosophical recognition in his life., Above all, it was judged that students' true self-esteem could be formed only when they reflect on themselves with a critical attitude toward this 'bias'.
Therefore, this program is designed to go through some academic learning process from the process of selecting the writing sense in that the reflection is a process that should be mediated by 'rational (critical) judgment'., In addition, 'reflection' is not completed, but it is possible when performing the continuous dissolution of self-thinking, so it combines 'social process-centered writing theory' based on post-structuralist epistemology. Thus, in the process of creating the writing and interviewing with the instructor after writing, the questioning method for the discovery learning found in McComisky's theory was used.
In particular, in the interview process, the questioning method was used to dismantle the binary opposition of the Western-centered epistemology that Derrida insisted, and the students were able to recognize that the 'bias' dealt with is a kind of dualistic idea formed within the power structure of society. In addition, to emphasize that reflection is a social-philosophical attitude that should be constantly performed, when teaching writing, it was induced not to solve the problem but to open ending to disintegrate self-thinking constantly. Through this process, the <Prejudice Diary> program will be a way to strengthen the socio-philosophical awareness in the reflective writing process that can be biased only to the domain of subjective awareness and to induce students to secure their own self-directedness in their own lives.
