생태 글쓰기의 발전적 탐색과 쓰기 절차 : 박지원과 이옥의 작품을 중심으로 (The Developmental Investigation and Writing Processof Ecological Writing)

초록

본 논문은 제재와 관점의 측면을 중심으로 생태 글쓰기의 개념을 확립하고 아울러 생태 글쓰기라는 용어에 맞는 쓰기 과정을 살펴, 생태 글쓰기 이론을 보완해 가고자 한 것이다. 생태 글쓰기는 자연 사물을 소재로 삼는 데 그치지 않고, 사물과 교감하여 자연 사물에서 삶의 본질과 의미를 발견해가는 글쓰기이다. 생태 글쓰기는 내용 면에서는 생태 정신을 담으면서 생각을 글에 담아내기까지의 글쓰기 과정을 탐구하는 것이다. 생태 글쓰기는 사물을 관찰해서 얻은 깨달음을 글로 표현하기까지 작가의 심리 과정까지 탐구 대상으로 삼는다. 다음으로는 생태 글쓰기의 쓰기 과정을 살폈다. 이옥의 「조부(蚤賦)」와 「후조부(後蚤賦)」, 연암의 「능양시집서(菱洋詩集序)」를 사례로 제시했다. 이옥은 주제를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해 「조부」와 「후조부」로 나누어 구성하여 극적 방식을 취했다. 이옥의 「조부」, 「후조부」는 벼룩이라는 미미한 벌레를 소재로 삼아 자기 패배의 글쓰기 방식을 활용하여 인간과 벌레의 존재성이 동등하다는 물아균시(物我均視)의 세계관을 펼친 작품이다. 연암의 「능양시집서」에서 작가는 사물을 자세히 관찰하고 얻은 진실을 인간 사회와 병치시킨다. 연암은 사물에서 얻은 발견을 인식론이나 미의식으로 연결하고 다시 현실 비판으로 치환한다. 연암이 생태 글쓰기를 수행한 심리적 과정을 살피면 ‘관찰하기 ⤑ 발견하기 ⤑ 인식론으로 연결하기 ⤑ 현실로 치환하기’의 과정으로 진행하고 있었다. 계속해서 생태 글쓰기 전략을 탐구하여 생태 글쓰기가 고정된 내용과 형식을 갖는 것이 아니라 작가의 개성에 따라 다양한 형식과 기법을 보여주는 글쓰기임을 밝혀갈 것이다.

영어초록

This thesis aims to complement the theory of ecological writing by establishing the concept of ecological writing, focusing on the aspects of sanctions and perspectives, and looking at the writing process that fits the term ecological writing. Ecological writing is not limited to using natural objects as subjects, but is a writing that discovers the essence and meaning of life in natural objects by interacting with objects. Ecological writing is an exploration of the writing process from the perspective of content to the topic being put into a work while containing the ecological spirit. Ecological writing considers the author's psychological process as an object of inquiry, from observing objects to expressing the enlightenment gained through writing.
Next, we looked at the writing process of ecological writing. Lee Ok's <Part about fleas[蚤賦]> and <Second part of Fleas[後蚤賦]> and Yeonam's <Nungyang Poems[菱洋詩集序]> were presented as examples. In order to effectively convey the subject, Lee took a dramatic method by dividing it into <Part about fleas[蚤賦]> and <Second part of Fleas[後蚤賦]>. In order to effectively convey the subject, Lee Ok took a dramatic method by dividing it into <Part about fleas[蚤賦]> and <Second part of Fleas[後蚤賦]>. Lee Ok's <Part about fleas[蚤賦]> and <Second part of Fleas[後蚤賦]> are works that unfold the worldview of Mul-ah-gyun-si[物我均視] that the existence of humans and insects is equal by using the writing method of self-defeat using a small bug called flea as a subject. In Yeonam's <Nungyang Poems[菱洋詩集序]>, the artist observes objects in detail and juxtaposes the truth obtained with human society. Yeonam connects discoveries from objects with epistemology or aesthetic consciousness and replaces them with criticism of reality. Looking at the psychological process that Yeonam performed ecological writing, it was proceeding with the process of ‘observing ⤑ discovering ⤑ connecting with epistemology ⤑ replacing with reality'. By continuing to explore ecological writing strategies, it will be revealed that ecological writing is not a fixed content and form, but a writing that shows various forms and techniques according to the individual's personality.
