중국에서 쓴 ‘한국문학사’의 한시(漢詩)작품 수록 양상 연구 (A Study on Introducing Sino-Korean Poetry in Korean Literature History Books Published in China)

초록

본고는 중국에서 쓴 ‘한국문학사’ 전체에 대한 데이터베이스 구축을 바탕으로, 중국 내 한국문학사 기술(記述)과 연구의 정량적 분석틀을 제시하고자 하는 작은 시도의 결과이다. 이를 위해, 중국에서 쓴 한국문학사에 등장하는 한국 한시 작품들의 양상 분석에 주목하고 있다. 이러한 분석은 중국의 한국문학사 연구자들이 한국 한시를 연구하고 있는 성과와 동향을 파악할 수 있는 기초적인 자료를 제시할 수 있다고 생각한다. 본고는 이상의 목표를 실현하기 위해 통계분석을 중심으로 중국에서 쓴 한국문학사에 수록된 한시들의 시대 구분, 작가 구성, 언급 빈도, 제목 표기, 원문 인용과 내용 설명 등 면에서 드러난 특징들을 분석하여, 그 결과를 표와 그림 등 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 형식으로 작성하였다. 본고의 연구 결과를 간략히 설명하면, 조선과 고려 시대의 한시 작품들이 문학사에 많이 수록되어 있지만 삼국과 그 이전 시대 작품에 대한 내용 분량이 적지 않다. 이는 고대의 한시 작품 수가 많지 않기 때문이다. 작품의 수량을 보면 이규보, 이제현과 최치원 등 20명 작가들의 작품은 절반 이상의 비중을 차지한다. 그 외 작품의 제목표기방법을 보면 현대역(現代譯, 현대 한국어로 번역된 글)으로 된 것으로부터 한자 또는 한자음으로 변화된 추세가 보인다. 그렇지만 글자가 많고 문장체 제목은 계속 현대역으로 표기된 경우가 많다. 본 연구는 중국의 한국문학사를 집필한 한국문학 연구자들이 바라보는 한국문학에 대한 주요 관심 포인트 혹은 그들이 생각하는 한국문학사만의 독특한 특징이 무엇인지를 정량적으로 확인 가능한 지표를 제공한다는 데 의의가 있다고 생각한다. 중국 내 한국문학사 연구자들은 어쩔 수 없이 자국문학사(중국문학사)에 대한 인식을 기반으로 한국문학사를 이해할 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 본 연구는 향후 다른 문학 작품과 작가에 대한 정량적 분석을 진행할 예정이며 이러한 결과들을 토대로 한중 학자들이 문학사 서술의 방법과 관점에 나타난 이동(異同)을 종합적이고 자세하게 살펴볼 계획이다.

영어초록

This paper is the result of an attempt to present a quantitative analysis framework of a previous study on Korean literature history in China, based on a database. The database, called ‘Database of Korean Literature History Published in China’(DKLHPC), was established by the author of this paper. The introduction of Sino-Korean Poetry in the database has been analyzed here and is the focus of this study. Basic data can be presented as part of this analysis understand the achievements and trends of Chinese researchers in Korean literature history studying Sino-Korean Poetry. To realize the above goals, this study analyzed the characteristics revealed in terms of period classification, writer composition, frequency of mentions, title notation, citation and content explanation of poems written in China. Subsequently, the results were compiled to be easy to grasp, in the form of tables and pictures. The results showed that many works of poetry from the Joseon and Koryo periods are included in the history of literature, but the number of works represented from the Three Kingdoms and the Pre-Three Kingdoms period is not small. This is because there are not many ancient poems. Looking at the number of works, the works of 20 artists, including Lee Kyu-bo, Lee Je-hyun and Choi Chi-won, account for more than half. The title marking method of other works show a trend that has changed from Korean translation to its original language (Chinese characters) or pronunciation of Chinese characters. However, the titles in type of long-sentence are often written in Korean translation. The quotation and technical method of the original poem are similar. In books similar to the nature of the history of North Korean literature in the 1980s, the original Chinese characters are described in modern history, and in later books, the original Chinese characters are the main technology method. The proportion of quotations in poetry in books focusing on classical scholarship is relatively higher than that of literary history described in a syntactic style. This study will be continued by conducting a quantitative analysis of other literary genres and authors in the future. Basing on these results, the common points and differences of analyzing method and conclusion in research of literary history between Korean and Chinese scholars shall be comprehensively assessed in details.
