태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 인식과 문제에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Recognition and Problems of Taekwondo Internship Program)

초록

이 연구는 태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 인식을 조사하여 개선방향과 발전에 대해 탐색하기 위해 태권도 인턴십 프로그램을 경험한 전공생 총 204명을 대상으로 폐쇄형 설문과 개방형 설문을 실시하여 내용을 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 설문지를 통해 수집된 자료는SPSS 27.0을 사용하여 연구 참여자의 일반적 특성을 알아보기 위해 빈도분석(Frequencies)을 실시하였다. 또한 개방형 설문은 원자료를 숙독하고 내용과 의미의 유사성에 따라 세부영역으로 구분하고 일반영역으로 범주화하는 분석 과정인 귀납적 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 태권도 인턴십 프로그램에 참여한 기간은 3개월 미만 121명(59.31%), 1년 이상 43명(21.07%), 3개월 이상 ~ 6개월 미만 26 명(12.75%), 6개월 이상 ~ 1년 미만 14명(6.87%)으로 나타났다. 둘째, 태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 수행 지역은 북미 92명(49.09%), 아시아 42명(20.58%), 남미 31명(15.20%), 유럽 21명(10.30%), 기타 18명(8.83%)의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 수행 횟수는 1회 143명(69.60%), 2회 45명(21.76%), 3회 이상 16명(8.64%)의 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 참여동기요인은21개의 세부영역으로 구조화하였고, 21개의 세부영역은 물적요인(297), 심리요인(212), 환경요인(96)으로 구성된 3개의 일반영역으로 구분되었다. 3개의 일반영역은 물적요인(49.10%), 심리요인(35.04%), 환경요인(15.86%) 순의 비율으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 태권도 인턴십 프로그램 수행의 어려움요인은 14개의 세부영역으로 구조화하였고, 14개의 세부영역은 물적어려움(295), 인적・운영적어려움(196), 심리적어려움(172)으로 3개의 일반영역으로 구분되었으며 물적어려움(44.50%), 인적・운영적어려움(29.56%), 심리적어려움(25.94%) 순으로나타났다. 이 연구는 태권도 인턴십 프로그램의 참여동기와 어려움을 파악하고 개선 방향성과 발전에 관련한 기초자료를 도출하였다.
이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 태권도 인턴십 프로그램이 규정될 필요성이 제기된 만큼 이와 관련하여 더욱 세심하고 깊은 관심이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 본 연구와 같은 주제에 관심을 가진 연구자들의 후속연구가 꾸준히 진행된다면 태권도 인턴십과 관련한 기초자료가 지금보다 확장되고 정립될 것으로 사료된다.

This study was conducted to investigate the improvement direction and development of Taekwondo internship programs by surveying and analyzing the perception toward Taekwondo internship programs among a total of 204 Taekwondo major students who have experience with a Taekwondo internship program using closed and open questionnaires In this study, frequency analysis was conducted on the data collected through the questionnaires using the SPSS 27.0 to understand the general characteristics of the research participants . In addition, inductive content analysis, an analysis process in which original data are thoroughly read to divide and categorize them into sub-domains and general domains according to the similarity of their content and meaning. First, it was found that, among the participants, 121 students (59.31%) participated in a Taekwondo internship program for less than 3 months, 43 students (21.07%) for 1 year or more, 26 students (12.75%) for a period between 3 months and 6 months, and 14 students ( 6.87% ) for a period between 6 months and 1 year. Second, 92 (49.09%) of the 204 students participated in a Taekwondo internship program in the region of North America followed by 42 students (20.58%) in Asia, 31 students (15.20%) in South America, 21 students (10.30%) in Europe, and 18 students (8.83%) in other regions. Third, the number of Taekwondo internship programs the students participated was found to be 1 for 143 people (69.60%) , 2 for 45 people (21.76%) and 3 or more for 16 people (8.64%). Fourth, the participation motivation factors of Taekwondo internship programs were structured into 21 sub-areas under the three general areas of physical factors(297), psychological factor (212), and environmental factor (96).
Among the 3 general domains, physical factor (49.10%) was found to have the biggest impact, followed by psychological factor (35.04%) and environment factor (15.86%). Fifth, the factors of difficulty in participating in Taekwondo internship programs were structured into 14 sub-areas under the three general areas of physical difficulty (295), human / operational difficulty (196), and psychological difficulty (172).
Among the three general domain, physical difficulty (44.50%) was found to have the biggest impact, followed by human / operational difficulty (29.56%) and psychological difficulty (25.94%). This study provides fundamental data for the improvement direction and development of Taekwondo internship programs by examining the motivation and difficulties in participating Taekwondo internship programs. This study also identifies the need to regulate Taekwondo internship programs, requiring careful and in-depth attention to the need. Moreover, active follow-up studies by researchers are expected to expand and firmly establish the fundamental data for Taekwondo internship
