미용실 경영자의 감성지능이 창의성과 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence of Beauty Salon Manager on Creativity and Innovation Behavior)

초록

본 연구는 최근 기업경영에 있어서 경영자의 감성지능의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 시점에서 미용실의지속가능한 성장 발전을 위한 방안을 마련하고자 진행되었다. 연구의 목적은 미용실 경영자의 감성지능이창의성과 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있으며 이를 통해 미용실 경영자가 갖추어야할 기본능력에 대한 기초자료를 제공하여 효율적인 미용실 경영과 운영에 적용할 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국의 미용실을 경영하는 원장을 표본으로 선정하였으며 2018년 11월 10일부터 12 월 10일까지 약 한 달간 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석에 사용한 유효한 설문지는 총 154부로 SPSS.
21.0 통계패키지프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 선형회귀분석을 실시하였다.
연구결과, 미용실 경영자의 감성지능 요인 중 자기감성의 이해, 타인감성의 이해, 감성활용이 창의성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 감성활용, 타인감성의 이해, 감성조절이 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 미용실 경영자의 창의성은 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변수임이증명되었다. 이는 미용실 경영자에게 감성지능이라는기본능력이 개발되어야 할 필요성을 시사하며 기업의가치창출을 위한 창의성과 혁신행동을 높이기 위해 갖추어야 할 역량임을 나타내준다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 미용 경영 및 운영을 위한 경영자의 기본능력 및 역량 개발에 도움을 주리라 사료된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a plan for the sustainable growth of beauty salons at the time when the importance of manager’s emotional intelligence is emphasized in corporate management.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of emotional intelligence of beauty salon managers on creativity and innovation behaviors, and to provide basic data on the basic abilities of beauty salon managers to find ways to apply them to efficient salon management. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, the director who runs the beauty salons nationwide was selected as a sample and the questionnaire was conducted for about one month from November 10 to December 10, 2018. The validated questionnaires used in the data analysis were 154 in total. SPSS 21.0 statistical package program was used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis. As a result, it was found that among the factors of the emotional intelligence of the salon manager, the understanding of the self-emotion, the understanding of the other person’s emotions, and the use of the emotions positively influence the creativity, and the emotional use, understanding of the other person’s emotions, respectively innovation behavior. In addition, the creativity of the salon manager has proven to be a positive influence on innovation behavior. This suggests that the basic skills of emotional intelligence should be developed for the salon manager and it is a competency that should be equipped to enhance creativity and innovation behavior for enterprise value creation. Based on the results of this study, it will be helpful to develop basic competencies of managers for beauty management.
