초록

崔斯立은 고려를 대표하는 시인 가운데 한 사람이지만 그의 생애에 대해 알려진 것이 별로 없다. 그간에 알려진 것 가운데에는 잘못된 것도 있으므로, 그의 생애를 다시 자세히 구성해볼 필요가 있다. 『高麗文科榜目』 등 고려시대 과거에 대한 몇 종의 기록을 통하여 그가 합격한 과거의 날자와 함께 과거에 합격한 사람 등이 누구인가 하는 것뿐만 아니라, 그가 과를 볼 당시의 신분, 본관, 아버지, 외가, 처가, 그리고 그의 최종 벼슬이 무엇이었던가 하는 것을 자세히 살펴보았다.
그리고 그의 시는 『東文選』에 2수 전하는데, 당시 시를 지어 널리 이름을 떨쳤던 「神駒行」보다는 天壽院 혹은 天壽門에서 지은 「待人」이 후대 사람들에게 높이 평가를 받았으며 많이 읽혔을 뿐만 아니라 차운시가 다수 지어지게 되었다. 李芮는 「대인」이 천수원과 함께 길이 전해지기를 바라는 마음을 글로 썼고, 李睟光은 그 시를 당나라 韓愈의 시와 비겨 뛰어남을 드러내었다.
그리고 우리나라 역대의 문인들 가운데 「대인」의 차운시를 남긴 사람들과 그의 시에 대해 살펴보았는데, 전하는 자료 상으로 보아 대략 30인 가량이 시를 지었지만, 현재 전하는 것은 20인 29수 정도의 작품을 확인할 수 있다.
이들 차운시에서 노래한 주제가 무엇이었던가를 살펴보니, 대략 歷史懷古와 人生無常, 그리고 고향에 대한 그리움을 읊은 것이다. 첫째, 역사회고를 읊은 시들에서는 천수원을 찾아 치란흥망의 역사를 되돌아보며 그 감회를 읊은 시를 살펴보았는데, 고려의 흥망성쇠에 아쉬움을 드러낸 것이 많았다. 둘째, 인생무상을 노래한 것에서는 많은 시인들이 폐허가 된 전조의 수도 앞에서 인생의 무상함을 깊이 느꼈음을 읊은 것이 많았다. 셋째, 여러 시인들은 객지인 개성의 천수원에서 客苦에 겨워 歸鄕을 바라는 애처로운 마음을 노래한 것을 많이 볼 수 있다.

영어초록

This paper is a brief look at the life of Choi Sarip, the author of the book 「Daein」 which is written in Cheonsuwon, Kaesong, and the themes of its Chaunshies(次韻詩).
Choe Sarip is currently recognized as one of the most prominent poets of Goryeo due to his seven verses called 「Daein」 which is one of the two of his poems remained. However, not only has his life been poorly revealed, but he has also been misinterpreted or transmitted.
The four types of 『Goryeo Mungua Bangmok』 were closely examined for the circumstances before and after he passed the examination in 1290, along with Choi Ham-il and Utak. When he applied for the exam, he was level seven officer, and his final civil service reached to level three. It was also confirmed that his maternal grandfather was the great-grandfather of Ki Taehoo and that his father-in-law was the god of Goryeo.
Among the two works left by Choi Sarip, 「Daein」 is said to be representative works, and various documents mentioned and evaluated 「Daein」: 『Shinjeung Dongguk Yeoji Seungram』, 『Songyeongrok』 of Nam Hyoon, 『Yusongdorok』 of Yu Hoin, and 『Jibong Yusel』 of Lee Sugwang.
And among the writers of Korea's time, we looked at the poems of "Daein." Based on the data, about 30 people wrote poems, but the current number of poems is about 20 and 29.
Furthermore, when we looked at what the theme of the song was in these poems, themes were mostly about historical records, the uncertainty of life, and longing for our hometown.
First, in the poems that recited historical records, he visited Cheonsuwon near the ancient city of Gaeseong and looked back on the history there, and many of them expressed regret over the rise and fall of the Goryeo Dynasty, not only after the Goryeo Dynasty collapsed but also after many years.
Second, singing about the uncertainty of the life, he deeply felt the futility of life in front of the ruined capital of the forefathers; also, he mourned that the flourishing images of Songdo had disappeared without a trace.
Third, many poets sang their longing for their hometown at Cheonsuwon in Kaesong. Not only Kim Anguk and Lee Seungso of the early Joseon Dynasty but also Kim Manjung and Hong Jeok of the late Joseon Dynasty sang the sad song of wishing for their return home.
