淸 游智開 시집 『天愚生詩鈔』와 『藏園詩鈔』의 판본 고찰 (Investigation on Xylographic Book of 『TianyushengShichao(天愚生詩鈔)』 and 『Zangyuan Shichao(藏園詩鈔)』)

초록

본 논문에서는 청 유지개 시집 『天愚生詩鈔』와 『藏園詩鈔』를 대상으로 각종 판본과 특징을 분석한 것이다.
『천우생시초』는 유지개가 1875년(광서 1)에 산정 편찬할 때 명명했던 책명이고, 『장원시초』는 1883년(광서 9) 이후에 산정 편찬할 때 명명했던 책명이다. 두 책자의 책명이 다르고 여러 판본이 존재하지만, 모두 일정한 체제 하에서 상호 연계되어 있어 사실상 동일 책자의 계보에 속한다.
필자가 보았던 판본은 모두 12종이다. 즉, 1875년(광서 1) 유지개초본 『천우생시초』, 1875년(광서 1) 직후 유지개초본 『천우생시초』, 1879년(광서 5) 유지개초본 『천우생시초』, 1883년(고종 20) 변원규 조선활자본 『장원시초』, 1884년(광서 10) 청간본 『장원시초』, 1886년(광서 12) 崔師范교감 청간본 『장원시초』, 1888년(광서 14) 晏修･歐陽瓚교감 청간본 『장원시초』, 1890년(광서 16)봄 莊鼎臣교감 청간본 『장원시초』, 1890년(광서 16)가을 청간본 『장원시초』, 1895년(광서 21) 최사범재교감 청간본 『장원시초』, 1899년(광서 25) 재산정 청간본 『장원시초』, 1900년(광서 26) 재산정 청간본 『장원시초』이다.
유지개는 자신의 작품을 남기는데 몹시 엄격했다. 평소 시가를 많이 짓는 것보다 빼어난 좋은 작품이 남기겠다는 신념에 따라 자신의 작품을 반복해서 지속적으로 다듬었다. 매번 책자를 새롭게 편찬할 때마다 작품의 일부를 증삭하거나 시구를 다듬었다. 각 판본마다 다른 판본에 볼 수 없는 작품이 일부 들어가 있다. 국내외에서 자신의 시집을 부단히 수정하는 문인들은 아주 많지만, 유지개처럼 자신의 시집을 여러 번 간행하면서 산정하는 자는 아주 드물다.

영어초록

This study intensively analyzed each xylographic book and characteristics of 『Tianyusheng Shichao(天愚生詩鈔)』 and 『Zangyuan Shichao(藏園詩鈔)』, which are the collections of poems written by You Zhikai(游智開) in Qing(淸) Dynasty.
『Tianyusheng Shichao』 is the book that You Zhikai named when it was compiled in 1875(the 1st reign year of Guangxu光緖) and 『Zangyuan Shichao』 is the book named when it was compiled in 1883(the 9th reign year of Guangxu). Although both books are named differently and many different xylographic books exist, they actually belong to the same genealogy of books because both were published by associating each other under a consistent system.
There are currently 12 xylographic books available. In other words, those are You Zhikai(游智開)’s own manuscript in 1875(the 1st reign year of Guangxu), after 1875(the 1st reign year of Guangxu), 1879(the 5st reign year of Guangxu) 『Tianyusheng Shichao』, Byeon Wongui(卞元圭)’s press in 1883(the 20th reign year of Gojong高宗), Proofreading in circa 1884(the 10th reign year of Guangxu), Cui Shifan(崔師范)’s press in 1886(the 12th reign year of Guangxu), Yan Xin(晏修) & Youyang Zan(歐陽瓚)’s press in 1886(the 14th reign year of Guangxu), Proofreading in 1899(the 25th reign year of Guangxu) spring, Proofreading in 1899(the 25th reign year of Guangxu) autumn, Cui Shifan(崔師范)’s press in 1895(the 21st reign year of Guangxu), Proofreading in 1899(the 25th reign year of Guangxu), Proofreading in 1900(the 26th reign year of Guangxu) 『Zangyuan Shichao』.
You Zhikai was very strict in leaving his own works. He had used to elaborate his works consistently with a belief that he would leave excellent works rather than focusing on writing poems in quantity. He had added or deleted some phrases whenever the books were newly complied. In other words, each xylographic book contained a work that could not see in other xylographic books. Even if there are many literary persons in home and abroad who modify their collections of poems consistently, it is very hard to find a person who refines his works whenever the collections were published.
