『孫子兵法』의 應用術을 통해 본 古典 可用性 고찰 (A Study of Classical Literature Interpretation in Variety and Application - With 『Sunzibingfa(孫子兵法)』 by Sunzi)

초록

서양의 편리한 과학적 지식과 사고를 응용한 발전의 바탕위에 포용적이고 상호보완적인 동양의 지혜를 화합시키고 재구성하여 시대적 변화의 당면과제로 떠오르는 여러 문제 해결의 임무를 수용하는 차원에서 고전의 번역을 응용한다. 이러한 맥락에 맞추어 본 연구 방향은 고전 중에서 『孫子兵法』을 활용한 古今의 지도자들을 통하여 고전의 지혜 응용과 그 가용성에 대하여 알아보고자 한다.
그리하여 앞으로 우리의 동양적 사상과 가치관이 세계의 흐름 속에서 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 하는가하는 본보기에 힘을 실어 발전 문을 활짝 여는 작업의 한 보탬 역할을 하는 것으로 번역의 사명이 이루어지는 것이다. 이러한 의도에서 많은 古典들이 해박한 선배 학자들에 의하여 재음미 되고 해석되어서 소개되었고 또한 많은 출판물이 쏟아진 것을 익히 알고 있다.
본고에서는 古典중에서도 대중에게 친숙하게 알려진 『孫子兵法』을 선택하였다. 그 이유는 이 고전이 가지고 있는 사상이 東西古今의 지도자들에 의하여 어떻게 활용되어 왔는지를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다.
관찰하려는 지도자들은 古代는 『三國志』속에 등장하며 잘 알려진 曹操, 諸葛孔明, 司馬仲達, 이 세 지도자들과 現代에서는 축구 감독으로 『孫子兵法』을 애독한 2006년 독일 월드컵 당시 포르투칼의 감독이었던 스콜라리와 현대 군사 이론가인 영국의 리델하트(Liddell Hart)를 선택하였다. 여기 소개된 지도자들이 『孫子兵法』을 활용한 사례들을 통하여 古典이 처해진 입장에 따라 어떻게 해석되고 활용되었는가를 살펴본다. 그리하여 앞으로는 고전이 어떻게 가용되어야 하는지를 알아보는 기회를 만들어보는 뜻이 본고 記述 의도이다.

영어초록

We apply The classics of the Orient as a way of solving the problems calling for immediate solution in the changes of these times by reconstructing a wisdom from the Oriental literature which are complementary cooperation and great capacity on the basis of convenient scientific knowledge and thought of the Western.
In this context, I would like to search the inflection and application about The classics of the Orient throughout the leaders all ages and countries who make use of 『Sunzibingfa』, the art of war by Sunzi.
So, It is charged with a mission in translation of the oriental thoughts and values how to make a shining example its way in the current of time.
In this aim to introduce the classics of the Orient. We can see the classics publication which is translated by many scholars. I recommended 『Sunzibingfa』 among the classics in this my thesis. Because I want to look into how to use of this book which has the thoughts by the leaders all ages and countries .
Under this intention, I will introduce three leaders who are famous for using the book 『Sunzibingfa』 in 『Sanguozhi(三國志)』-Records of Three Kingdoms, Caocao(曹操), Zhugeliang(諸葛亮) and Simayi(司馬懿) in ancient times and Luiz Felipe Scolari and Liddel hart, one is famous for using the book as the coach of the Republic of Portugal soccer team the 2006 World Cup Soccer and the other is a strategist of England in these modern days.
We can see how to use this 『Sunzibingfa』 in their places and circumstances. Therefore We can have a chance how to use The classics of the Orient.
