초록

『영언』(이근배본)은 572수의 악곡별 분류 가집으로, 1809년 임비거사에 의해 제작되었다. 이 가집은 이삭대엽의 풍부한 작품양과 질서체계와 달리 삼삭대엽 이하에서는 작품 양과 악곡이 현격히 줄어든다. 이런 양상을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 사실들을 발견했다.
첫째, 삼삭대엽의 작품들은 18세기 후반에 형성된 것들을 수록했고, 작품 배열은 18세기 전반 『청구영언』(김천택 편) 삼삭대엽과 유사한 공통어구에 의한 질서를 따랐다.
둘째, 소용은 다양한 시도들을 거쳐 최종 18세기 후반에 형성된 작품들이었다. 이들 작품은 소용 악곡 성격에 가장 부합하는 노래들이었다.
셋째, 만횡의 작품들은 동시대 가집들과의 일치도가 낮았고, 그 대신 『청구영언』(김천택 편) 만횡청류를 압도적으로 많이 수용한 특징을 보였다.

영어초록

YoungAn(『永言』), a compilation song book owned by Lee GeunBae(李根培), holds and organizes 572 songs. In 1809, YimBiGeoSa(林扉居士) compiled the songs and recorded in the YoungAn. Towards the latter half of YoungAn, there are oddities displayed in the content in contrast to the first half. One notable characteristic is the melodies of the songs in the latter half, which are following SamSakDaeYeop(三數大葉): there aren’t as many melodies as the first half. This paper discovered three key differences by comparing the songs in the latter half of YoungAn and related songbooks from the 18th century and 19th century.
First, SamSakDaeYeop(三數大葉)’s compilation holds songs dated in the early 19th century. The SamSakDaeYeop organizes these songs in a way similar to that of the CheongGuYoungAn(靑丘永言), which was compiled by Kim ChunTak(金天澤) in the early 18th century.
Second, YongGa(騷聳, 聳歌), which connects the BonGagok(本歌曲, very slow songs sung in the first part of GaGokChang) and SoGagok(小歌曲, relatively fast songs sung in the latter part of GaGokChang), experimented with various characteristics throughout the 18th century. YongGa within YoungAn compiled the appropriate songs for the early 19th-century.
Third, SoGaGok(小歌曲) only has ManHoeing(蔓橫). However, in this compilation, the different versions of Nak(樂), Nong(弄) are recorded in ManHoeing. In addition, there are multiple screaming versions of this song. Like such, the different songs being organized under ManHoeing provides that ManHoeing, which was called the ManHoeingChungLyu(蔓橫淸類) in the early 18th-century, is not a song with a single melody, rather an indication of various songs with extended lyrics.
As such, YoungAn’s SamSakDaeYeop, Yong Ga, ManHoeing demonstrates the characteristics of the early 19th century song compilation books. Furthermore, ManHoeing’s lyrics and melodies prove that there are screaming versions of this song that existed. YoungAn clearly illustrates GaGok’s characteristics influenced by trend and song preferences selected by the compiler.
