초록

전통문화의 활용은 민족의 역사, 지식, 사상을 전파하는 중요한 수단이고 또한 문화 콘텐츠를 개발하는 창작 원천이다. 그러므로 중국의 전통 문양 역시 문화의 한 기호로서 민족적 정신과 의미를 직관적으로 반영할 수 있다. 특히 경쟁이 치열해지는 글로벌 게임시장에서 기획과 어우러지는 전통 문양의 활용은 시각적 차별성과 독특한 스토리를 전달하는 주요한 요소가 될 것이다.
중국 전통 문양을 활용한 무협 게임 속 무협은 중국 고유의 장르이며, 무협 콘텐츠에서 표현된 모든 정신과 정취에는 중국 문화의 모습을 살펴볼 수 있다. 그러므로 무협은 다른 나라에서는 볼 수 없는 중국만의 문화적 특성을 보여주는 장르이다. 무협 문화에서 무기는 다양한 형태와 모양을 가지고 공격 능력을 지니는 모습으로 등장한다. 계급 사회와 민속 무술 체제에서 중요한 역할을 해 왔다. 이 외에 무기는 문학예술, 가상 게임에도 도입된다. 특히 무협 게임에서는 발휘 공간이 많아지면서 무기 기호가 더욱 확대되고. 캐릭터 개성을 형성하고 깊은 의미를 표현하는 데 중요한 역할을 하게 되었다.
본고에서는 중국 전통 문양의 특징, 구성, 상징적 의미에 대해 심도 있는 연구를 전개하고, 해당 형태 표현과 문화적 의미를 살펴보고자 한다. 중국 전통 무협 게임 디자인과 인기 무협 게임 관련 작품을 조사하여 현 단계 무협 게임의 조형 요소를 분석하고 중국 전통 문양의 조형 특성을 요약한다. 전통 문양에 대한 복사 복원, 해체 및 재구성, 변경 통합과 같은 방법을 활용하면 무협 게임에서 무기 디자인을 보다 유연하게 만들 수 있다. 또한 전통문화 활용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 국가 산업의 경쟁력을 높이는 큰 힘이 되기도 한다. 중국 전통문화의 중요한 구성 부분으로서 중국 전통 문양은 문화 정보 상품을 개발하는 창의적인 원천이다. 전통 문양을 합리적으로 적용하여 무협 게임 무기를 개발하면 게임 콘텐츠의 경쟁력을 효과적으로 향상할 수 있다고 본다.
본 연구를 통하여 중국 전통 문양을 연구 대상으로 전통 문양이 중국 문화의 창의적 산업 경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 수단임을 논증하였다. 이를 통해서 다른 국가와 지역의 전통 문양 차이점에 대해 국가와 문화를 구별하여 문화 창의적 게임콘텐츠의 문화적 정체성과 부가가치를 향상하기 위한 연구가 지속되어야 한다.

영어초록

Traditional culture is an important means of spreading national history, knowledge and ideas, and a creative source for developing cultural information products. As a symbol of Chinese culture, Chinese traditional patterns can directly reflect the national spirit and cultural significance. Especially in the highly competitive global game market, the use of traditional motifs in harmony with planning will be a major factor in conveying visual differentiation and unique stories.
The martial art is a genre unique to China. Chinese culture can be seen in all the spirit and emotions expressed in martial arts works. The martial art is a genre that expresses a cultural identity unique to China. It is something that is not seen in other countries. In martial arts culture, weapons come in all forms and shapes and have the ability to attack. It plays an important role in class society and in the folk martial arts system. In addition to this, weapons have been introduced into literature and art and virtual games. Especially in martial arts games, the symbols of weapons have been further expanded as the display space has increased. Weapons play an important role in shaping the character and expressing profound connotations.
This paper intends to conduct an in-depth study of the characteristics, composition and symbolic meaning of traditional Chinese patterns, examining their morphological expression and cultural connotation. Then, by examining the design of martial arts games on the market and works related to popular martial arts games, this paper analyzes the formation elements of martial arts games at the present stage and summarizes the formation characteristics of traditional Chinese patterns. The methods of copying and restoring, disassembling and reconstructing, merging and changing traditional glyphs can make the weapon design in martial arts games more flexible. This has a positive effect on the utilization of traditional culture and is an important force to enhance the competitiveness of national industry. As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, Chinese traditional patterns are a source of creativity for developing cultural information products. The reasonable use of traditional patterns and the development of martial arts game weapons can effectively improve the competitiveness of game products.
This study takes Chinese traditional patterns as the research object, and demonstrates that traditional patterns are an important means to improve the competitiveness of Chinese cultural and creative industries. The subsequent study will continue to analyze the differences of traditional patterns in other countries and regions to continuously improve the cultural identity and added value of cultural creative game contents.
