18~19세기 조선 지식인의 壽蘇會 수용과 전파 (The acceptance and dissemination of “Shou su hui” by Joseon intellectuals in the 18C and 19C)

초록

수소회는 청나라에서 유행한 소동파를 숭배하는 일종의 문화 현상이다. 본고에서는 청나라에서 수소회의 기원과 흥발, 그리고 조선 사신들을 통해 조선에 들어온 과정에 대해 정리하였으며, 조선에 들어온 후의 전파 상황과 원인을 논의하였다. 수소회의 발전과 조선 전래에 결정적인 역할을 한 옹방강의 수소회를 중점적으로 분석하였다.
연행 사료를 통해 박제가･김정희･신위와 옹방강의 교유를 단서로 수소회 東傳의 시기와 과정을 탐구했다. 조선 지식인들이 이 문화를 수용하는 과정을 논의했다. 또한, 조선 지식인의 수소회와 관련된 시문을 정리하여 수소회가 조선에 들어온 이후 조선 지식인 사이에서 전파되는 양상을 살펴보았다. 여기에는 이 문화 활동을 전개하는 주요 그룹과 시기별 분포 상황을 포함하였다. 이를 다시 전래 이전 청나라 수소회 모임과, 조선의 특수한 상황에 따라 진행된 수소회 모임의 차이점을 비교하여 살펴보고 발전과 변화의 원인에 대해 분석하였다.
조선 후기에 갑작스레 소동파 열풍이 일었고, 이러한 열풍은 수소회의 전파와 맞물려 있었다. 수소회가 조선에 들어온 후 이러한 열풍의 발생이 더욱 촉진되었으며, 소동파 열풍은 수소회의 발전을 위한 충분한 토양을 제공했다. 수소회는 문화 현상으로서 소동파에 대한 숭모를 매개로 양국의 지식인을 연결시켰고, 결국 당시 조청 양국의 문화교류의 중요한 부분이 되었다.

영어초록

“Shou su hui” (Gathering for Su dongpo's Birthday Remembrance) is a cultural phenomenon popular in the Qing Dynasty. This paper discusses the origin and development of “Shou su hui” in the Qing Dynasty, and how it was introduced into the Joseon Dynasty through Joseon envoys, and sorted out the spread situation and reasons after it was introduced into the Joseon Dynasty. This paper mainly focuses on the analysis of the “Shou su hui” of Weng Fanggang(翁方綱), which played an important role in the development of the “Shou su hui” and played a decisive role in the introduction of “Shou su hui” into the Joseon Dynasty.
Through the historical materials of 燕行, the time and the process of “Shou su hui”'s introduction into the Joseon Dynasty were explored based on the friendship of Park Jae-ga(朴齊家), Kim Jeong-hui(金正喜), Shin Wi(申緯) and Weng Fanggang. This paper discusses the process which Joseon Dynasty intellectuals accepted the culture. By sorting out the poems related to the “Shou su hui” by the intellectuals of the Joseon Dynasty, this paper observes the spread situation of the “Shou su hui” among the intellectuals after it was introduced into the Joseon Dynasty, including the main groups and time distribution of the cultural activities. To compare with the “Shou su hui” of the Qing Dynasty before its introduction, this paper finds the difference between the Shousuhui which developed in combination with the native culture of the Joseon Dynasty and the previous “Shou su hui”, and analyzes the reasons for its development and change.
In the late Joseon Dynasty, there was a fever of admiration for Su Dongpo, and this fever interacted with the spread of the “Shou su hui”. After the introduction of the “Shou su hui” into the Joseon Dynasty, it further promoted the occurrence of this fever, and the Su Dongpo fever also provided sufficient soil for the development of the “Shou su hui”. As a cultural phenomenon, the “Shou su hui” connected the intellectuals of the two countries because of their admiration for Su Dongpo, and eventually became an important part of the cultural exchanges between the two countries at that time.
