금융소비자교육 연구에 나타난 토픽 분석 (Topic Analysis in the Study of Financial Consumer Education)

초록

목적 본 연구는 금융소비자교육 연구들에서 제시하고 있는 토픽들을 분석하여 가정과교육에서의 금융소비자교육의 방향을 설정하기 위한 기초자료를 마련하는 것에 목적이 있다.
방법 이를 위하여 2005년 1월 1일부터 2021년 2월 5일까지 출간된 금융소비자교육 관련 연구논문 21편을 대상으로 하여 빈도분석하였다. 그리고 토픽모델링 기법을 활용하여 금융소비자교육과 관련된 주요 토픽을 분석하고, 토픽들 간의 네트워크 분석을 진행하여 토픽 사이의 관계를 시각화하였다.
결과 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 금융소비자교육을 주제로 한 연구는 2010년부터 2014년까지가 10건으로 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 그 이후에는 연구가 미진한 상황이다. 이는 금융소비자교육을 금융교육과 소비자교육에 포함된 영역으로 연구하는 경향이 강하기 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 단어의 출현 빈도를 상위 18개로 추출한 결과 금융(financial), 소비자교육, 소비자, 교육(education), 경험, 연구 등의 순이었다. 이는 금융소비자교육을 제외하고, 소비자와 교육, 경험 등이 포함된 것은 금융소비자교육에서 소비자로서의 교육과 금융소비 경험의 중요성을 보여주는 결과로 분석할 수 있다. 셋째, LDA 기반 토픽을 분석한 결과 교육내용, 청소년 금융소비자교육, 금융환경의 변화, 교육 방법, 소비자 경험의 5가지 토픽이 도출되었으며, 그중 교육 내용의 비중이가장 높게 나타났다. 토픽 추출을 통해 금융소비자교육은 청소년 대상 학교 교육의 중요성과 학교 교육과정과 교과 내용에 생애설계에 따른 금융교육이 포함될 필요가 있음을 시사해준다. 교육 매체로는 온라인, 사이트, 웹사이트 등을 활용하고, 금융상품이나 소비자 정보, 투자 등의 교육 내용이 포함될 필요가 있다. 넷째, 토픽들의 네트워크는 분석, 내용, 고등학교, 문제 등이 중심에 있으며, 대학생, 이해력, 교육과정, 소비자, 정보, 교육, 경험, 사회적, 가계, 투자, 만족도 등의 단어가 연결된 것으로 나타났다.
결론 연구의 결과를 통해 변화하는 디지털 환경에 적용하기 위해 가정과교육에서 금융소비자교육 프로그램과 내용 요소의 개발이필요함을 도출하였다

영어초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the topics presented in financial consumer education studies and prepare basic data to set the direction of financial consumer education in home and education.
Methods For this purpose, Frequency analysis was conducted on 21 research papers related to financial consumer education published from Jan. 1, 2005 to Feb. 5, 2021. In addition, by using topic modeling techniques, major topics related to financial consumer education were analyzed, and network analysis related to topics was per formed to visualize the relationship between topics.
Results The result is as follows. First, 10 studies with the subject of financial consumer education were conducted from 2010 to 2014 when was the most active period while number of studies was declined since that. This may be from the study trend that financial consumer education was studied in the areas of financial education and consumer education. Second, upon the extraction results of top 18 vocabularies occurred, it showed in the order of finance, consumer education, consumer, education, experience, study, and so on. Inclusions of consumer, education, experience, and so on beside financial consumer education can be considered to empathize the education and experiences of financial consumption as the consumer in the education. Third, upon the analysis result of topics based on LDA, five topics were found including education contents, financial education for adolescents change of financial environment, education methods, and consumption experience, and the proportion of education contents were the highest. Topic extraction results of financial consumer education implicate the importance of school education for adolescents and the needs to include financial education by lifelong design in the curriculum and subjects. With respect to the education methods, they used online, websites, and so on, and the educational contents need to be included such as financial items, consumer information, investment. Fourth, regarding network of topics, analysis, contents, high schools, problems, and so on were located in the center, while words including university students, understanding, curriculum, consumers, information, education, experiences, social, household, investment, satisfaction.
Conclusions The results of the study led to the need for the development of financial consumer education pro grams and content elements in home economics education to apply to the changing digital environment.
