2023년 현재 사용중인 한․일 초등 1-3학년 국어교과서 어휘 연구 (A Study on the Vocabulary of Elementary School National Language Textbooks for 1st to 3rd grades in Korea and Japan in Use in 2023)

초록

本稿の目的は2023年現在、韓国と日本で使用している小学校1~3年の国語教科書の 語彙分析を通じて両国教科書に現れた社会文化的特徴を明らかにすることである。 分類語彙表(1964)による43の中分類の場合、韓国は<1.2人間活動の主体>に属す る大部分の項目をはじめ、<1.42衣料>、<1.43食料>など12項目で有意差が現れた。一 方、日本は<1.55生物>や<1.56動物>をはじめ、<1.19量>、<1.32創作․著述>など８項 目で有意差が現れた。 有意差が現れた項目を小分類した結果によると韓国は人称、職業、友達、家族、親 戚、待遇․賞罰、絵、音楽、衣服、飾り物などで有意差が現れた。一方、日本は数、 臨時的地位、父母․先祖、芸術․文芸、魚類などで有意差が現れた。 なにより韓国の教科書で<長>、<社会的地位>を始め、<国民>、<君主>、<社会階 級>などの小項目で有意差が現れなかったことは肯定的に評価できる。このことは従 来の教科書に多かった伝来童話や生活文を大幅に減らし、国内外の創作作品などを導 入した結果であろう。ただし、日本に比べ人物に対する評価的な名付けが多く、 友 達 という単語の乱用、職業の多様性の欠如、外見を重視する価値観を作りやすい単 語の多用に関しては今後再考の余地がある。今後、4~6年の国語教科書の語彙分析結 果と対照を通じてより明確化していきたい。

영어초록

This article is to clarify the socio-cultural characteristics of textbooks in both countries through vocabulary analysis of 1st to 3rd grades national language textbooks used in Korea and Japan in 2023.
Based on the categorization of 分類語彙表(Vocabulary classification table)(1964), out of 43 medium categories, in Korean textbooks, there were significant differences in 12 items, including most items belonging to <1.2 principal agent of human activity>, <clothing> and <foodstuff>. On the other hand, in Japan, there were significant differences in ８ items, including <animal>, <living organism>, <quantity>, and <creation ․writing>.
According to small categories of medium categories that showed significant differences, in Korea, in person, occupations, friends, family members, relatives, reward and punishment, clothing, and ornaments in Korea. On the other hand, there were significant differences in Japan, especially in numbers, temporary status, parents and antecedents, art, literature, etc.
Finally, we can positively view that there was no significant difference in the chief, social status, national people, monarch, and social class categories in Korean textbooks.
It is probably because of a substantial reduction in the fable, and the introduction of works that shine with rich creativity both domestically and abroad. However, compared to Japan, there are more evaluative names for people. However, abusing the word "friend," the lack of diversity in occupations, and the heavy use of vocabulary related to appearance need further discussion.
