중국 건축의 상징(象徵), 천인(天人)과 풍수(風水) 연구 - 중국 건축 디자인 주역(周易) 응용의 세 경향 - (Symbol, Heaven-Human Relationship and Fengshui - Three Tendencies of Architectural Design of Change in China -)

초록

중국 고전 주역(周易)에 근거한 중국 건축 디자인의 중요 경향을 역사와 문화의 시각으로 분석했다. 상징, 천인합일 관계 및 풍수의 세 가지 추세로 귀납되었다. 중국 고유의 역사 상황과 문화적 요인이 거시적으로 작용하고 중국의 경제부흥으로 인하여 중국의 디자인 형성요인들의 변화가 있어 왔는데, 이를 중국건축 디자인의 역사적인 분류로 전통형, 중서결합형 및 절충형으로 나누었다. 중국건축은 예로부터 지금까지 문화적, 정서적, 형상적 의미에서 주역의 역할이 중요한 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 중국 고전 주역(周易)에 근거한 중국 건축 디자인의 중요 경향을 역사와 문화의 시각으로 분석하여보고자 하였으며 이를 상징, 천인, 합일 관계 및 풍수의 세 가지 추세로 연구하였다.
주역에 의거한 중국 건축 디자인의 역사 맥락을 살펴 볼 필요에서 고대, 근대와 현대로 삼분하여 고찰을 시도했다. 고대에는 천인 관계, 방위 개념으로 그 특성을 살펴보았으며, 근대에는 서양과 융통하여 우세한 요소가 되고 중국적인 것이 부수적인 위치에서 다원화된 디자인 풍격을 예시한 기원을 이루었다. 현대에는 인간 중심, 자연 존중 및 민족 문화 전승의 사조가 나타났다. 세 가지 중국 디자인의 주요 추세는 상징에서 역학(易學) 상수(象數)와 음양(陰陽) 응용, 천인합일(天人合一)이론이 적용되었는데 지형, 토수(土水)와 기(氣)가 중요 요소가 되며, 풍수(風水) 이론은 음양오행(陰陽五行), 사주팔자(四柱八字) 등의 만물 원소와 시간관념이 중시되었다.
결론은 다음 세 가지로 첫째, 주역(周易)에 근거를 둔 중국 건축 디자인은 상징화, 천인합일의 자연화 및 풍수의 양식 패턴이다. 둘째, 서양적 요소의 건축 디자인 사상과 실제가 우세한 현재 주역(周易)에 근거한 중국 역사와 문화의 고유성이 중국 특유의 디자인 문화를 가미하여 ‘중국적 디자인 문화’를 형성하는 과도기에 놓여 있다. 셋째, 중국 현대 건축 디자인이 향후 중국 및 아시아의 정체(整體)적 발전에 상응하여 세계 범위에서 가장 활발한 발전 잠재력을 예시한다.

영어초록

I illuminate the meanings of the Chinese architectural design according to the Change using the approach method of the correlation with the history and culture. It would be the point of the paper that the mainstream of modern Chinese architectural design would be as follows: symbols, heaven-human and Fengshui of Chinese core classic Change. It would be considered that in the macro level be the historic and cultural elements and in the micro level be the economic development and China people`s cultural tradition elements.
The related theories parts have included twofold: generalized related Chinese architectural design theories and specific Change related theories. The generalized related theories have included traditional model of architectural design, China-Western mixed model and medium model. And the specific related theories have explained symbols, things-creature-design concepts and Fengshui. I would have divided three trends of proceedings of Chinese architectural design historical stages as three: ancient, modern and contemporary historical periods. In ancient period, architectural design aesthetics have set up the patterned models of Change architectural models as heaven-human relationships and direction theories. In modern period, architectural design have infused Western and Chinese formations. And in contemporary period, architectural design have expressed humanism, nature respect and fork cultural heritages.
Chines architectural design tendencies according to Change by the inner history and culture perspective would be as follows: first, the numbers and yin-yang design tendency in the name of adoption of classic, second, and heaven-human relationships by the elements of water, soils and vigor(qi), and third, Fengshui design theories in the meanings of yin-yang five-elements(wuxing) and eight character about birth(sizhubazi) of things elements and time concepts.
In conclusion, I would suggest three points that first, Chinese architectural design according to Change have had three main trends as symbols, things-creature-design concepts and Fengshui, second, the transition period in the meaning of the traditionalization of Chinese history and culture had plused to the ideal-typed contemporary Chinese architectural design, and third, Chinese contemporary architectural design would have constant development possibilities because of the mixed background of East and West civilization and the advent of China and Asian period.
