초록

As to a change of historical novels in 2000s, a new name of‘New
age historical novel’has been devised. New age historical novel is
clearly distinguished from the two trends showed by existing
historical novels, that is, 1) a novel showing the interest of history
itself, what is called, a kind of historical talks and 2) a novel creating
stories metaphorically or allegorically, with a writer own idea or
prospect of history reversely projected. Because New age historical
novel demonstrates that history is exclusively used as an aesthetic
thing not from a dimension not of an idea or interest but from a
dimension of the personality and imagination of mutually different
style.
By the way, the historical novel as what is called New age historical
novel is expanding an access to history with different character and
taste, so to speak, a type as a novel pursuing for aestheticization rather
than is achieving qualitative increase as effective alternatives or
supplement of existing historical novels, so that it seems to be more
feasible to be classified into an existing historical novel or a
subordinate genre of a novel. This paper is intended to consider three
aspects of non- historical nature indicated in 2000s historical novels,
centering around 『Namhansanseong』(2007) written by Kim Hun,
『Rijin』(2007) written by Sin Gyeong-suk, and 『Black Flower』(2003)
written by Kim Young- ha, by condensing the different nature and
tastes of 2000s historical novels in the concept of non- historical
nature.
