Park, Chong-hoon. 2016. A Study on the ≪Suyeohanseol≫ exists in Suwon museum. There was Kim, gyu-eung`s ≪Suyeohanseol(睡餘閒說)≫ exists in Suwon museum. This book was collected Kim, gyu-eung`s record by his son who Kim, jun-young. There was contained Kim, gyu-eung`s learning by turns in ≪Suyeohanseol≫. The first, It was recorded in ≪Suyeohanseol≫ that Kim, gyu-eung failed Kwagŏ, the old state examination, nine times. The second, It was called ＜Seoyuhyangsangi(西遊香山記)＞ that was recorded travelogues of Myohyang mountain and Northwestern space after wrote down that he failed Kwagŏ eight times in 1833. The last, It was called ＜Gyeongjasawoliljangsuwoobuyimnojunggi(庚子四月日長水郵赴任路程記)＞ that was recorded travelogues of a course he started dochalbang(道察訪) of Jangsu in 1840.
This book, ≪Suyeohanseol≫, was recorded that he failed total nine times in a poetry club. This work was expressed that he represented an individual misfortune failed Kwagŏ nine times. But, This work was appeared a reality and an evil Kwagŏ exam and Kwagŏ site in those day. This work was out into the actual circumstances of Kwagŏ with nothing missing that examinee changed other examniee`s examination paper. And in those day there was recorded that could confirm an evil of Kwagŏ that an examinee conspire with a proctor.
＜Gyeongjasawoliljangsuwoobuyimnojunggi＞ was recorded that Kim, gyu-eung put on record in the process of Jangsudochalbang(長水道察訪) in 1840. From 6th April, he started hanyang to 16th April, he arrived his new post. This work was recorded an itinerary of total 11 days. According to a diary style, He documented that he passed a county and every day. and he wrote down an ending of the book travel distance for a day.
At ＜Seoyuhyangsangi(西遊香山記)＞ , After he failed 8 times in a group of poem, he wrote down the day`s program total 35days from March 25 to April 29 1833year. But, It was recorded just two days, April 15th and 16th, which he practically went sight-seeing Myohyang mountain. This story also was documented by a diary style every day. and the story was show about he met some people that put down he passed through each day. As other Travelogues of Northwestern or Travelogues of Myohyang mountain, It was appeared forerunners` remains shortly, and it was worthy of notice that he mentioned the customs of pyongyang and introduced samsibyukdongchen-paradise of Taoism- of samdeung. and it was formed a few times about each county magistrates was accompanied by Kisaeng on his way to sight-seeing.
