초·중등생의 성별에 따른 생명과학캠프의 효과 (Effect of Life Science Camp on the Degree of Interest in Science by Gender of Elementary and Middle School Students)

초록

This study was examined effect of life science camp on the degree of interest in science by gender of elementary and middle school students. The purpose of this research was to be aroused on the degree of interest in science and risen accessibility to science. In addition, this investigation was analysed satisfaction of participants in the science camp taken place at the Korea Univ. by 385 surveys. Those results were as follows. The positive science interests rate of participate students in the science camp was that male was more than female, the increasing of science interests after the science camp was too. Female participants joined voluntarily was more than male, but male's interesting and satisfaction about camp teaching was higher than female's. The other side, female had thoughts that the science camp would be help to school science class more than male. The female's intension about rejoining, recommendation the camp was also higher. On the perception of informal science education, female thought more necessary than male. The effect of the science camp to future job was better to male, and the intention to get a job in the sphere of science was also male was higher than female. After the science camp, the increasing of the university's positive image and interesting to enter the university appeared higher in the female.
