초록

안전상비의약품의 24시간 직접적인 구매가 가능해지면 한해 편의점의 안전상비의약품의 판매액이 240억을 넘어섰다. 소비자들의 직접적인 구매가 가능해지면서 편리성이 증가하였지만 비전문가인 자가진단을 통한 의약품의 오·남용이라는 우려와 문제점이 발생되고 있다. 이는 소비자의 판단으로 구매가 이루어지는 의약품 패키지는 올바른 정보전달 역할이 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 일반의약품 패키지디자인의 색채 분석을 통해 기업의 로고 색상과의 배색 연관성을 연구를 통해 의약품 패키지디자인의 효율적인 디자인 전략을 기반을 마련하는 것이다. 연구대상은 국내 상위 제약회사 5개 제약사의 홈페이지에 노출된 일반의약품 총 63개를 대상으로 한정하였다. 연구방법으로는 일반의약품의 패키지 디자인을 구성요소에 따라 텍스트요소, 그래픽요소, 배경요소로 구분하여 배색연구 하였으며 자연색체계(NCS) 방법으로 배색현황을 배색 띠와 배색구성으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 패키지디자인의 색채는 기업의 로고의 색채와 영향이 있다. 또한 로고와의 유사한 뉘앙스구조를 나타나고 있다. 따라서 사용자들은 패키지 디자인을 통해 기업의 브랜드를 직·간접적으로 경험하고 제품 구매에 영향을 주어 구매율에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 본 연구에서는 급증하는 의약품 시장에 따른 기업의 이익창출을 위해 패키지디자인의 역할의 중요성을 인식할 수 있다. 또한 기존의 하청 또는 내부에서 주먹구구식으로 디자인되었던 의약품 패키지 디자인의 중장기적 패키지 디자인 전략수립에 의의가 있다.

영어초록

Since direct purchase of safe standing drugs became available around the clock, the annual sales of them has exceeded 24 billion KRW. As consumers can directly purchase the drugs, their daily lives become more convenient, but issues and concerns that non-experts may abuse drugs through self-diagnosis are being raised. This is why the drug package purchased by consumers‘ decision must play a role as a communicator of correct information. By this, we established the research hypothesis on the basis of an advanced research reporting that consumers get the information about drugs and purchase them only through their package design at the time of purchase.
The purpose of this research is to study the extensibility of the user‘s brand experience by the color analysis of over-the-counter drug package sand prepare the new base of drug package design. We chose as objects of this research only 63 drugs posted on the web sites of domestic top 5 pharmaceutical companies, and verified the extensibility of brand experience through emotional adjectives. As a research method, package design of general medicines was classified into text elements, graphic elements, and background elements according to the components, and the coloring status and colors were analyzed by the natural color system (NCS) method. The result of research shows that the color of the package design is influenced by the color of the corporate logo. It also shows a similar nuance structure to the logo. Therefore, users will directly or indirectly experience the brand of the company through package design, and will affect the purchase rate by influencing the purchase of the product. In this study, we can recognize the importance of the role of package design in creating profits for the rapidly growing pharmaceutical market. It is also important to establish a mid- and long-term package design strategy for drug package design that has been designed in the conventional subcontractor or internal fashion.
