초록

현대 디자인 이미지에 대해서 우리의 전통 철학, 사상 중 음양오행론을 바탕으로 디자인 담론을 더욱 깊고 풍성하게 만들기 위한 분석 연구가 많이 되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 하나의 디자인 이미지를 오행 체계로 분석하고 그 결과가 형상과 오방색 각각 다르게 분류되지 않고 동일한 결과가 도출될 수 있게 제안하는 것이다. 연구 문제로는 첫째, 동양 음양오행론의 형상과 오방색은 어떤 연관성이 있는가? 둘째, 현재 제작된 디자인 이미지를 오행의 형상과 오방색으로 분석한 각각의 해석을 비교하면 왜 서로 다른 오행으로 분류되는 경우가 생기는가? 셋째, 디자인 이미지에 나타난 형상과 오방색을 어떻게 음양오행론으로 분석하고 디자인을 제안 할 것인가?로 정리했다. 이를 위해 선행 연구와 음양오행, 풍수분야의 문헌 고찰을 조사하고 분석 모형을 만들어 음양오행론의 형상과 오방색 두 체계로 기존에 제작된 디자인 이미지를 각각 분석 연구 하였다. 그래서 오행의 형상과 오방색 두 가지로 적용했을 때 오행이 다르게 분류되는 원인을 찾고 동일하게 오행 분류가 가능한 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 이 연구를 바탕으로 더 많은 연구가 이뤄지길 바란다.

영어초록

There are many studies conducted on modern design images with the aim to enrich our discourse on design based on “Yin-Yang and Five Elements Theory”, which is one of our traditional philosophy and thoughts. However, most of these studies are focused on the relationship between ‘shape of the five elements, Ohbangsaek and win-win conflict among “Yin-Yang and Five elements theory”, and studies to analyze the same design based on the shape of the five elements and the Ohbangsaek system have seldom been conducted. Therefore this study was conducted to analyze the design images based on the form of “Yin-Yang and Five elements theory” and Ohbangsaek’ and analyze and propose in such a way as to enable it to analyze the same five elements without classifying the results of analysis and derive the same results of analysis. For the study problems, this study set 3 study problems as follows: First, what is the relationship between the form of “Yin-Yang and Five elements theory” and ‘Ohbangsaek’? Second, why the images of the design produced recently are classified into different five elements when the respective analysis results based on the form of five elements and the Ohbangsaek? Third, how to analyze the forms and Ohbangsaek appearing in the design images based on “Yin-Yang and Five Elements theory” and propose designs? To do this, this study has reviewed the existing studies and literature relating to Yin-Yang and Five Elements and Fenshui and then defined the form of Yin-Yang and Five Elements and the meaning of Ohbangsaek. Furthermore, this study has made analysis model and analyzed the existing design images based on two systems- the form of Yin-Yang and Five Elements and Ohbangsaek. As a result, this study has found the reasons why the five elements are classified differently when the form of the five elements and Ohbangsaek applied and proposed the way to enable the same classification of the five elements. The results of this study are expected to serve as the foundation for future studies.
