초록

21세기 첨단과학의 시대를 살고 있는 오늘의 현대인들은 고도의 과학화, 산업화에 대한 폐해에 대하여 고민하기 시작하였고 이는 자연과 환경에 대한 많은 관심으로 이어지고 있다. 또 현대 사회 문화 전반에 흐르는 Well-being Trend의 영향은 패션에도 반영되어 의상이나 주얼리 등을 선택하고 착용할 때 천연의 재료로 이루어진 패션상품에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 현대인들의 요구에 부응하여 천연염색과 천연보석으로부터 얻을 수 있는 색을 천연색이라고 보고 이러한 천연색을 중심으로 의상과 주얼리를 함께 개발하되 이들 의상과 주얼리가 잘 어우러져 조화로운 패션코디 스타일이 될 수 있는 디자인 개발에 중점을 두었다. 디자인의 여러 가지 요소 중에서 색의 역할을 중요하게 생각 하고 Well-being Trend를 고려하여 자연으로부터 얻은 천연염색과 천연보석을 디자인의 기본이자 주요 요소로 보고 디자인을 전개하였다. 본 연구 결과, 천연 염색과 천연 보석으로부터 얻은 색을 비슷한 이미지의 색상별로 분류할 수 있었다. 분류된 색상 이미지를 바탕으로 유사색상 코디네이션 및 대조색상 코디네이션의 방법으로 의상과 주얼리를 저자들의 논의를 통해 각각 디자인 개발하였다. 선과 면의 분할을 통해 천연색을 강조한 현대적이고 심플한 의상과 주얼리 디자인을 개발하고 동시에 이들의 코디네이션을 제안하였다. 천연색의 특징을 이해하고 웰빙트랜드에 따른 패션스타일을 반영하여 의상 및 주얼리를 각각 디자인하되, 의상과 주얼리 디자인을 하나의 공통된 컨셉으로 전개함으로써 창조적이면서도 차별화된 패션 코디네이션 디자인의 기본 방향을 제안하고자 하였다.

영어초록

Modern people of today who live in an age of high-technology in the 21st century started having considerations on a high level of science and industrialization, which have been followed by many interests in the nature and environment. In addition, the impacts from the well-being trend overwhelming over the modern society and culture were adopted by fashion with increasing concerns on the fashion products made from natural materials when they select and wear clothes or jewelry. This study focused on the design development making it possible to become the fashion coordination style with balance while having harmony for both clothes and jewelry although such clothes and jewelry are developed around natural colors, which are deemed as colors that can be obtained from natural dyeing and natural gem stones to comply with the needs of modern people as such. This study is based on the research on natural dyeing and natural gem stones as the basic materials for both clothes and jewelry along with natural colors that can be obtained from nature in consideration of the well-being trend while regarding roles of colors as being important among many elements in the design. As a result of this study, colors obtained from natural dyeing and natural gen stones could be classified into color in similar images. Clothes and jewelry were designed and developed respectively with methods for the similar color coordination and contrasting color coordination based on the classified color image. A variety of coordinations were suggested at the same time with each development of modern but simple clothes and jewelry designing with strengths of natural colors through divisions of lines and planes. This study tried to suggest the basic directions of both creative and differentiated fashion coordination design by advancing designs for both clothes and jewelry designs into one joint concept while designing clothes and jewelry respectively with reflecting the trends in the modern fashion as well as with understanding the characteristics of natural colors.
