피티드 소매 맞음새 향상을 위한 성인여성의 어깨와 팔 유형 분석 -체질량지수를 중심으로- (Shoulder and Arm Type Analysis of Adult Women for Improved Fitted Sleeve Fit -focused on BMI-)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 20~69세 성인여성을 대상으로 국가기술표준원 사이즈코리아의 제8차 한국인인체치수조사 3차원 계측데이터를 활용하여 비만도에 따라 어깨와 팔의 형태를 유형화하고 그 특징을 알아보는 것이다. 또, 연령대별로 비만도에 따른 어깨와 팔 유형의 차이를 알아봄으로써 비만도에 따른 의복 소매 구성에 필요한 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 20~69세 성인여성의 높이항목은 저체중군이 높고, 길이는 비만군이 길었다. 둘레, 두께, 너비항목은 모든 항목에서 비만군이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 20~69세 성인여성의 팔과 어깨 형태를 구성하는 요인은 팔과 어깨 수직요인, 팔과 어깨 수평 요인, 어깨길이와 너비 요인, 어깨기울기 요인 등이 추출되었다. 성인여성의 팔과 어깨 유형은 높은 보통 어깨, 가늘고 긴 팔, 처진 어깨 가는 보통 팔, 넓고 두꺼운 어깨 짧고 굵은 팔 유형 등 3개로 분류되었다. 비만도에 따라 저체중군은 제2유형의 비율이 높고 정상체중군은 제1유형과 제2유형의 비율이 비슷하였으며, 과체중과 비만군은 제3유형의 비율이 매우 높았다. 비만도에 따른 팔과 어깨 유형별로 의복 소매 구성에 필요한 시사점을 살펴보면, 저체중군은 목옆점에서 어깨끝점까지의 기울기를 크게 하고 어깨너비는 좁게 설정되어야 한다. 또, 팔이 가늘어 소매산을 높게 설정함으로써 소매통을 좁게 할 필요가 있다. 과체중군과 비만군은 어깨의 두께도 크기 때문에 진동둘레를 크게 설정할 필요가 있으며, 소매산 및 소매통 설정에서 여유량에 차별화가 요구된다. 소매통을 넓히기 위해 소매산을 낮추는 방법만으로는 과체중군과 비만군의 편위팔둘레를 편안하게 커버하는 데 어려움이 있을 것으로 생각되므로 과체중군과 비만군의 팔과 어깨에 적합한 소매제도법 개발이 요구된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of shoulder and arm shapes typified by body mass index, utilizing 3D measurement data from the 8th Korean anthropometric survey of Size Korea, a national institute of technology and standards, on adult women aged 20~69 years. Another purpose is to examine the differences in shoulder and arm types by obesity by age group, and to provide suggestions for clothing sleeve configurations by obesity. Here are the results. Height items for adult women aged 20-69 were higher in the underweight group and length was longer in the obese group. All items for circumference, thickness, and width were found to be greater in the obese group. Factors that constitute the arm and shoulder morphology of adult women aged 20-69 were extracted, including vertical factors for arm and shoulder, horizontal factors for arm and shoulder, shoulder length and width factors, and shoulder tilt factors. Adult women's arm and shoulder types were classified into three categories, including normal shoulders with high, thin, long arms, normal thin arms with drooping shoulders, and short, thick arms with broad, thick shoulders. Depending on the degree of obesity, the underweight group had a higher percentage of type 2, the normal weight group had a similar percentage of type 1 and type 2, and the overweight and obese groups had a very high percentage of type 3. Looking at the necessary suggestions for the configuration of the sleeve distribution of clothing by arm and shoulder type according to body mass index, the lower weight group requires a larger slope from the side of the neck to the tip point of the shoulder and a narrower shoulder width setting. In addition, because of the narrow arms, the sleeve cuff should be narrower by setting the sleeve pile higher. Because the overweight and obese groups also have larger shoulder thicknesses, the armhole circumference must be set larger, and differentiation in the amount of space is required in the sleeve pile and cuff settings. It is necessary to develop sleeve manufacturing methods suitable for the arms and shoulders of the overweight and obese groups, as it seems difficult to comfortably cover the upper arm area of the overweight and obese groups using only the method of lowering the sleeve pile to widen the cuff.
