제4차 산업혁명과 교육목회의 새 전망: 인공지능을 중심으로 (The 4th Industrial Revolution and New Perspective to Educational Pastoral Care: Focus on Artificial Intelligence Age)

초록

오늘날 제4차 산업혁명’은 전 지구적으로 주목을 받고 있는 뜨거운 관심사들 가운데 하나이다. 한국을 포함하여 세계의 모든 학문 분야에서는 제4차 산업혁명이 가져올 세상의 큰 변화에 대하여 무엇을 준비하고, 어떻게 대응해야 할 것인지에 대한 연구와 토론이 진행되고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 연구자는 먼저, 제4차 산업혁명의 개념과 그 주요 기술들의 내용, 주요 이슈들을 살펴보았다. 그리고 이러한 시대적 상황에서 실천신학으로서 교육목회가 관심을 가져야 할 영역과 교육목회의 과제와 방향은 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 본 논문은 다음과 같은 다섯 부분으로 전개되었다. I. 들어가는 말에서는 연구 동기와 문제를 제기하였다. II. 제4차 산업혁명의 주요 이슈들에서는 세 가지 주제를 다루었다. 1. 제4차 산업혁명의 의미에 대한 세 학자들의 견해를 논의하였다. 1980년 앨빈 토플러의 ‘제3물결’, 2011년 제러미 리프킨의 ‘3차 산업혁명’, 2016년 클라우 슈밥의 제4차 산업혁명의 개념을 소개하였다. 2. 제4차 산업혁명의 주요 테크놀로지들에서는 물리학 기술, 디지털 기술, 생물학 기술 등을 소개하였다. 3. 제4차 산업혁명과 인공지능에서는 인공지능의 개념, 강한 인공지능 vs. 약한 인공지능, 인공지능과 교육에서의 이슈 등을 다루었다. III. 제4차 산업혁명과 교육 분야의 관심에서는 1. 리프킨의 3차 산업혁명과 교육의 관심, 2. 슈밥의 제4차 산업혁명과 교육, 3. 제4차 산업혁명시대 한국사회에서의 교육적 관심 등을 소개하였다. IV. 제4차 산업혁명시대 한국교회 교육목회의 과제에서는 1. 기독교회의 역사의식과 자의식, 2. 새로운 상황과 교육목회: 돌봄과 양육 등을 논의하였다. V. 나가는 말에서는 21세기 제4차 산업혁명의 우리에게 선사한 혁신적 기술들의 혜택과 편리함에도 불구하고 여기서 배제되고 소외된 인간에 대한 관심과 돌봄으로서 교육목회의 과제와 방향의 의미를 다시 한 번 성찰함으로 글을 마쳤다.

영어초록

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is one of the hot topics currently drawing worldwide attention. In all disciplines of the world, including Korea, research and discussions are underway on what to prepare and how to respond to the great changes in the world brought on by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this context, the researcher first looked at the concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including an analysis of leading technologies, and major issues that developed during this period. In these situations, I examined areas, tasks and directions of the educational ministry as practical theology. This paper has been divided into five parts: I. Introduction: I raised research motivations and problems involved in the creation of this paper. II. The Main Issues of The Fourth Industrial Revolution: The most prominent concerns of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are covered across three themes. 1. The Meaning of the Fourth Industrial Revolution: I discuss the views of three scholars regarding the implications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Here I introduce and analyze concepts of three dominant scholars, including Alvin Toffler's "The Third Wave"(1980), Jeremy Rifkin's "The Third Industrial Revolution"(2011), and Klaus Schwab's “The Fourth Industrial Revolution.”(2016). 2. The Main Technologies of The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Here I present three domains of technology, including the physical sphere, digital sphere, and biological sphere. 3. The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Artificial Intelligence: The three concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Strong Artificial Intelligence(SAI) vs. Weak Artificial Intelligence(WAI), and Issues in Education are examined. III. The Fourth Industrial Revolution and its concerns in Education: Three Educational concerns are presented as follows. 1. Educational concerns of Jeremy Rifkin’s the Third Industrial Revolution, 2. Educational concerns of Klaus Schwab’s the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and 3. Educational concerns of Korea in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Age. IV. Educational Ministry Tasks of the Korean Church in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Age: Here I discuss three themes pertaining to new situations of Educational Ministry as follows. 1. Historical awareness and self-consciousness of Christian Church. 2. Educational ministry in new situations, caring and nurturing. V. Conclusion: Finally I insist that despite the benefits and convenience of innovative technologies offered to us in the Fourth Industrial Revolution of the twenty-first century, we must once again reflect on the meaning and direction of education ministry as a source of caring for excluded and alienated human beings.
