의사의 전문직업성에 입각한 ‘의사상(醫師像)’ 상호인식에 관한 연구: 심장마취과 의사와 심장외과 의사를 대상으로 (The Mutual Recognition of Medical Professionalism between Cardiac Anesthesiologists and Cardiac Surgeons)

· 연구 주제: 본 연구는 심장마취과와 심장외과 간의 의사상에 대한 상호 인식에 대한 연구이다. 구체적으로, 심장 마취과와 심장외과 전문의들이 인지하고 있는 의학 전문직업성에 대하여 조사한다.
· 연구 배경: 심장마취과와 심장외과는 각 분야별로 전문화되어 있으면서 동시에 상호의존적인 분야이다. 따라서 환자치료, 팀 역동성, 그리고 전반적인 의료 전달 등에 있어서 심장마취과와 심장외과는 서로의 전문 역할을 이해하고 존중해야 할 필요가 있다. 심장마취과와 심장외과는 심장 질환과 관련된 복잡한 수술과 마취를 담당한다. 이들 전문가들에게는 심장에 대한 전문적인 지식과 기술이 요구된다. 따라서 이들 전문가들의 의사상과 전문직업성은 특히 중요하다고 할 수 있다.
· 선행연구와의 차이점: 첫째, 의료서비스 질의 향상을 위해 실제 의사들을 상대로 다른 전공 분야의 이해도를 조사하여 분석함으로써 의료 협업에 관한 유용한 정보를 제공하였다. 둘째, 상이한 의료분야의 협업 및 의료팀 구축의 중요성을 상기시키는 연구로써, 모범적인 의사의 개념을 제시하며, 이를 위한 구체적인 방안들을 제시하였다. 셋째, 의료분야에서 CS(customer satisfaction) 전문가의 역할의 필요성을 일깨워주었다. 의료분야에서 CS(customer satisfaction) 전문가가 어떤 역할을 수행하는지 그리고 이들로 인하여 어떠한 긍정적인 효과가 발생하는지에 대하여 의미있는 정보를 제시하였다.
· 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들 간의 의학 전문직업성에 대한 인식을 조사하며, 심장마취과 및 심장외과 전문의 20명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 논문에서 통계분석은 IBM SPSS version 29를 사용하였으며, 상관관계분석을 통해 연구가설을 검증하였다.
· 연구결과: 첫째, 심장외과 의사와 심장마취과 의사는 서로에 대한 바람직한 의사의 전문성 수준을 높게 인지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이들은 서로에 대한 의사로서의 현재 충분 정도를 높게 인지하고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 이들은 현재 의사로서의 전문성을 바람직한 의사상에 비해 다소 부족하다고 느끼고 있지만, 이런 차이는 심장마취과 의사를 대상으로 한 분석 결과에서 더 크게 나타났다. 이는 심장마취과 의사들이 상대적으로 더 보수적으로 평가되는 경향이 있음을 시사한다.
· 공헌점 및 기대효과: 첫째, 본 연구는 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들의 전문직업성을 강조하였다. 이들의 특수한 의료 지식과 기술에 대한 이해를 높이고, 이를 기반으로 한 의료서비스 제공의 중요성을 강조하였다. 둘째. 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들 간의 상호인식을 조사하여, 의료진 간의 협업을 강화하는 데 기여하였다. 이는 환자의 치료 및 관리에 필요한 효율적이고 효과적인 의료팀 협업을 유도할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 셋째, 본 연구는 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들의 의사상을 다각도로 이해함으로써, 환자와 의사 간의 관계를 개선하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 의료진의 전문성과 의사상에 대한 명확한 이해는 환자들에게 신뢰감을 부여하고 치료 과정을 보다 원활하게 만들 수 있다. 넷째, 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들 간의 의사상에 대한 상호인식을 조사함으로써, 서로의 역할과 기여를 더욱 잘 이해하고 인정할 수 있도록 하였다. 이는 의료진 간의 상호 존중과 협력을 촉진하여 의료서비스의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 다섯째. 본 연구는 의료분야에서 심장마취과와 심장외과 전문의들 간의 의사상에 대한 새로운 통찰을 제공하였다. 이는 의료진 교육 및 훈련, 의료 기관의 운영 및 관리에 유용한 지식을 확장할 수 있도록 공헌하였다.

· Research topics: This study studies the mutual perception of the doctor's image between cardiac anesthesiology and heart surgery. Specifically, it investigates the medical professions recognized by cardiac anesthesiology and cardiologists.
· Research background: Cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgery are both specialized and interdependent fields. Therefore, cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgery need to understand and respect each other's specialized roles in patient treatment, team dynamics, and overall medical delivery. Cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgery are responsible for complex operations and anesthesia related to heart disease. These experts are required to have specialized knowledge and skills in the heart. Therefore, it can be said that the doctors and professions of these experts are particularly important.
· Differences from prior research: First, useful information on medical collaboration was provided by investigating and analyzing the understanding of other major fields of actual doctors to improve the quality of medical services. Second, as a study reminding us of the importance of collaboration in different medical fields and establishing a medical team, the concept of a mother-of-lawdoctor was presented, and concrete measures were suggested for this. Third, it reminded us of the necessity of the role of CS (customer satiation) experts in the medical field. Meaningful information was presented on what role CS (customer satiation) experts play in the medical field and what positive effects they have.
· Research method: This study investigated the perception of medical professionalism between cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons, and surveyed 15 cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons. In this paper, IBM SPSS version 29 was used for statistical analysis, and the research hypothesis was verified through correlation analysis.
· Research results: First, it was found that cardiac surgeons and cardiac anesthesiologists highly perceive the desirable level of professionalism of doctors for each other. Second, it was confirmed that they highly recognize the current sufficient degree of doctors for each other. Third, they feel that their expertise as doctors is somewhat insufficient compared to the desirable doctor image, but this difference was greater in the analysis results of cardiac anesthesiologists. This suggests that cardiac anesthesiologists tend to be evaluated relatively more conservatively.
· Contribution points and expected effects: First, this study emphasized the professionalism of cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons. It increased their understanding of special medical knowledge and skills and emphasized the importance of providing medical services based on them. Second, by investigating the mutual perception between cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons, it contributed to strengthening collaboration among medical staff. It is expected that it will be able to induce efficient and effective medical team collaboration necessary for patient treatment and management. Third, this study is expected to help improve the relationship between patients and doctors by understanding the doctor's image of cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons from various angles. A clear understanding of the medical staff's expertise and physician's image can give patients confidence and make the treatment process smoother. Fourth, by investigating the mutual perception of the doctor's image between cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons, the roles and contributions of each other can be better understood and recognized. It is expected that the quality of medical services can be improved by promoting mutual respect and cooperation among medical staff. Fifth, this study provided new insights into the doctor's image between cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac surgeons in the medical field. This has contributed to expanding useful knowledge for the education and training of medical staff and the operation and management of medical institutions.
