장애인을 돌보는 가구주의 자살생각에 미치는 영향요인: 장애인삶 패널조사를 이용하여 (Influencing Factors on Suicidal Ideation of Householders Caring for People with Disabilities: Using a Panel Survey on Disabled People's Lives)

초록

장애인을 돌보는 가구주는 일생동안 신체적, 정신적, 사회적, 경제적 부담과 함께 사회의 부정적인 편견 등을 경험하고 있다. 이러한 어려움을 가지고 살아가고 있는 장애인을 돌보는 가구주는 정신적 문제에서 그 문제의 해결방안으로 자살까지 나타나고 있음이 보고되고 있다. 이에본 연구에서는 장애인을 돌보는 가구주의 자살생각에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하고자 한다. 다각적인 분석을 위하여 개인적, 심리적, 사회적 요인으로 분류하였다. 먼저, 개인적 요소로 장애인을 돌보는 가구주의 주관적 건강상태, 장애인과의 관계 정도를, 심리적 요인으로 우울, 자아존중감, 여가생활 만족도를, 사회적 요인으로 장애가 삶에 미치는 영향, 장애와 관련한 경험, 가족건강성 정도를 설정하여 이들의 주요 변수가 자살생각과 어떤 관계가 있는지 영향요인을 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구의 자료는 제2차 장애인삶 패널조사 원시자료를 이용한 이차자료분석연구로 실수와 백분율, Chi-Square test, t-test, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 장애인을돌보는 가구주는 자살을 생각하지 않는 사람에 비하여 우울(2.6배)과 장애인과의 관계 정도(1.73배)가 높은 것으로 나타난 반면, 자아존중감(.33배), 가족건강성(.63배), 주관적 건강상태(.45배), 여가생활 만족도(.66배)는 낮았다. 이상의 결과에 근거하여, 장애인을 돌보는 가구주의 자살생각은 우울, 장애인과의 관계 정도, 자아존중감, 가족건강성, 주관적 건강상태, 여가생활 만족도가 영향요인임을 알 수 있었다. 주요 변수 중 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수가 우울과장애인과의 관계 정도로, 이를 이용한 장애인 가족의 자살예방 프로그램을 개발하여 장애인뿐만 아니라 장애인을 돌보는 가구주에게 중재 및 적용하는 것이 필요하다.

Heads of households who take care of disabled people experience negative prejudice from society along with physical, mental, social and economic burdens throughout their lives. It has been reported that household heads with disabilities who are living with these difficulties are showing up to suicide as a solution to mental problems. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors influencing suicidal ideation of household heads with disabilities. For multilateral analysis, it was classified into personal, psychological, and social factors. Therefore, this study set subjective health status and relationship with the disabled as personal factors, depression, self-esteem, and leisure life satisfaction as psychological factors, and the impact of disability on life, disability-related experience, and family strength as social factors. The purpose of this study is to identify the influencing factors on the relationship between the main variables and suicidal ideation. The purpose of this study is to measure the degree of the relationship with suicidal ideation and to identify the factors affecting them through various variables. The data of this study is a secondary data analysis study using raw data from the second panel survey on disabled people's lives, and real numbers and percentages, Chi-Square test, t-test, and logistic regression analysis were performed. As a result of the study, it was found that the level of depression (2.6 times) and the degree of relationship with the disabled (1.73 times) were higher among those who thought about suicide compared to those who did not think of suicide, while the self-esteem (.33 times) and family strengths (.63 times), subjective health status (.45 times), and leisure life satisfaction (.66 times) were low. Based on the above results, it was found that the suicidal ideation of the head of a disabled householder is affected by depression, relationship with the disabled, self-esteem, family health, subjective health status, and leisure life satisfaction. Among the major variables, the most influential variable are depression, the degree of relationship with the disabled, so it is necessary to develop a suicide prevention program for the disabled family using this and to mediate and apply it.
