초록

This study analyzes the factors influencing the health-related quality of life of the subjects participating in sports activities for the elderly in rural areas. In order to ach85 100ieve this purpose, senior citizens who continued to participate in the N University senior sports activity program in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, for more than a year were recruited. 450 people were finally selected for sample sampling by applying the nomadic sampling method. Among the collected data, a total of 426 people were finally used, excluding 24 copies that responded insincerely or significantly less reliable. The conclusions derived through such a research method are as follows. First, in terms of individual characteristic variables, men, participants with spouses, and participants in economic activities showed somewhat higher health-related quality of life than women. Second, in terms of exercise-related characteristic variables, participants with high frequency of participation in sports activities and high satisfaction with participation showed high health-related quality of life. Third, in the socio-psychological characteristic variable, the higher the exposure of depression, the lower the quality of life related to depression health, and the higher the social support factor, the higher the related quality of life. By analogy from the above conclusion, it is once again confirmed that participation in sports activities for the elderly is helping to improve health-related quality of life.
