초록

Experiences of space in literacy writings are made thorough the crossing
memories of some subjects surrounding the texts−such as writer, readers
and characters and so on. That means the experiences of space arise from
the events that comes from the communicating and crossing of the
memories of both the subjects' and objects'.
In chapter 2, I looked through the meaning of ‘Mt. Jiri’ called for literal
representation of memories about Korean war at a general point of view. In
chapter 3, I analyze the net of meaning of ‘Mt. Jiri’ which is revealed by Oh
Tae-seok's case, it is explained by two points of view, which are openness
and closeness. In chapter 4, it emphasizes that the interpretation activity of
readers goes beyond the recognition of space and now it points to practice
in real life.
As a result of this paper, we can find out the following two facts. First,
it's considered that the space in SANSUYOU , the space has double
meaning, as it has past and present, positiveness and negativeness, and
closeness and openness. Second, this play writings move toward
accommodation and harmony of these two spaces which are eventually
opposite point, or from closeness to openness. It is a result that is
intervened interpretation and practice of subjects surrounded by writer,
readers and society and so on.
