빛 공해에 영향을 미치는 야간 조명 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Night Lighting Affecting Light Pollution)

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 오늘날 사람들의 야간 활동이 증가하고 활동에 필요한 야간 조명이 많아지면서 빛 공해 문제점이 나타나고 있으며 특히 공공장소에서 야간조명의 조도와 휘도가 높아지면서 많은 빛 공해 문제점이 증가하고 있다. 도시이미지 변화와 개선은 도시 이미지를 새롭게 변모시키고 도시를 브랜드화 시키는 영향을 주며 그러한 차원에서 다양하고 차별화된 전략이라 할 수 있으며 이러한 도시의 변화는 도시경쟁력 측면과 야간경관 조명의 기술 및 디자인의 변화를 가져온다. 이와 같은 상황에서 빛 공해 발생 근원인 조명의 요인에 대한 학문적 연구가 미비하고 또한 빛 공해의 조명 요인에 대한 세부적인 내용을 정립할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 빛 공해 조명 요인에 대한 세부적인 내용을 분석하고 종합하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 빛 공해에 영향을 미치는 야간 조명의 요인을 종합하기 위하여 빛 공해와 조명 요인에 관련된 국내의 선행연구 논문을 연구범위로 설정하였다. 또한 논문을 수집하고 주요 항목별로 분석하여 빛 공해에 영향을 주는 세부적인 조명 요인을 종합하였으며 선행연구 논문은 2009부터 2018년까지의 연구된 논문이 분석되었고, 연구의 과정에서 빛 공해에 영향을 주는 조명의 요인을 항목별로 분류하고 도출하는 연구방법을 적용하였다. (결과) 연구 결과 빛 공해의 조명 요인은 산란광, 눈부심, 침입광, 집중광이 영향을 미치는 세부적 요인으로 분석되었다. 또한 빛 공해에 영향을 주는 조명 요소로는 휘도, 조도, 색온도, 연색성이 종합되었으며, 특히 휘도와 조도가 많은 영향을 주며, 또한 조명설치와 조명기구에 대한 내용에 있어서는 설치높이, 수평거리, 조명범위 및 각도, 광원위치가 영향을 주는 것으로 종합되었다. (결론) 이와 같이 빛 공해의 야간 조명 요인에 대한 보완을 통하여 빛 공해를 최소화하여 야간의 쾌적한 조명환경 조성을 계획하여야 하겠다. 또한 본 연구를 통한 빛 공해 원인은 야간 조명 요인 중 휘도와 조도가 중요하며 또한 야간 조명 연출에도 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 측면에서 국내의 많은 도시들 역시 도시의 이미지 브랜드화를 통하여 점차 많은 야간 빛 공해가 이슈화 될 것이며 미래의 과제로 도출될 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 빛 공해에 영향을 미치는 야간조명의 요인을 개선하여야 하겠으며 향후 빛 공해 야간 조명 연구의 실질적 자료로 역할을 할 것이다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) Nowadays, people’s level of nighttime activity is increasing and the nighttime lighting required for these activities is increasing, so light pollution problems are emerging. Changes and improvements in urban image have the effect of transforming urban image and branding cities. Such a concept can be considered as a diverse and differentiated strategy, and changes in these cities bring about changes in urban competitiveness, technology, and the design of night scenery lighting. Especially in the public places, the luminance and illuminance of the nighttime lighting are increasing, so that many problems related to light pollution are increasing as well. In this situation, there is a lack of academic research on the causes of light pollution, and there is a need to elaborate the factors of light pollution. In this regard, this study aims to analyze and synthesize the details of light pollution factors. (Method) In order to synthesize the factors of night lighting affecting light pollution, the research scope of the previous research related to light pollution and lighting factors was set as the scope of the present research. In addition, the detailed lighting factors influencing light pollution are collected by analyzing previous research papers and analyzing them by major items. The papers were analyzed from 2009 to 2018. In this study, we applied the research method to classify and derive the factors affecting light pollution. (Results) As a result, the factors of light pollution were analyzed as the factors affecting scattered light, glare, intrusion light, and focused light. In addition, luminance, illuminance, color temperature, and color rendering are integrated into lighting elements that affect light pollution. Especially, luminance and illuminance have a great influence on lighting pollution, as well as range, angle, and light source position. (Conclusions) In this way, it is necessary to plan the creation of a pleasant lighting environment at night by minimizing light pollution through supplementing the contributing night lighting factors. Also, it was analyzed through this study that the causes of light pollution luminance and illuminance are important in night lighting factors and also have a great effect on night lighting production. In this respect, many cities in the country will also become increasingly subject to light pollution through the image branding of cities and will become a future task. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to improve the factors of night lighting which affect light pollution. This study will serve as practical data for future light pollution night illumination research.
