빅데이터를 활용한 항저우아시안게임의 여론동향 분석 (Analysis of Public Opinion Trends for the Hangzhou Asian Games Using Big Data)

초록

본 연구는 제19회 항저우아시안게임과 관련된 뉴스, 블로그, 카페, 지식인, 게시판 등 소셜미디어상의 비정형 텍스트 데이터 분석을통하여 항저우아시안게임에 대한 전반적인 여론을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 빅데이터 일괄처리솔루션 TextoM을 사용하여 개막 전, 기간 중, 폐막 후(2023년 8월 23일~10월 9일)로 나누어 인터넷 포털사이트(Naver, Daum, Google) 의 뉴스, 블로그, 카페, 지식인, 게시판에 나타난 항저우아시안게임 관련 키워드를 수집하였다. 본 연구에서는 텍스트마이닝, 의미연결망 분석, CONCOR분석 방법을 활용하여 수집된 데이터를 기반으로 항저우 아시안 게임과 관련하여 주요 키워드 간의 관련성, 군집등을 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구결과, 대중의 인식을 살펴보면, 항저우아시안게임 개막 전에는 항저우아시안게임 개막, 한국 인기 종목, 선수촌, 축구, 경기, 선수촌, 국제 관계으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 항저우아시안게임 기간 중에는 항저우아시안게임 폐막, 경기정보, 한일전, 야구 경기, 중국 메달으로 구분되었으며 항저우아시안게임 폐막 후에는 항저우아시안게임, 국내 관심, 인기 선수, 메달리스트로 구분되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 항저우아시안게임에 대한 대중들의 여론 및 인식을 파악해 볼 수 있었다. 결론적으로 중국문화와디지털의 융합을 통한 아름다움과 예술의 개폐회식, 경기력에 의한 인기종목과 메달리스트, 한국인들의 일본에 대한 문화 인식이 매우 많이 반영되었다. 앞으로 메가이벤트 주최 시 4차 혁명의 디지털과 문화·예술의 융합을 통한 개폐회식, 스포츠의 경기력 향상을통한 스포츠의 활성화, 그리고 국민들의 문화적 인식을 잘 반영하여야 추진하여야 할 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall public opinion of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games by analyzing unstructured text data from social media. These social media sources included news, blogs, forums, knowledge communities, and bulletin boards. To achieve this research objective, we used the big data processing solution TextoM to collect keywords related to the Hangzhou Asian Games from internet portals such as Naver, Daum, and Google. The data collection periods included before, during, and after the event (August 23, 2023, to October 9, 2023). We employed text mining, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis methods to examine the relationships and clusters among the main keywords associated with the Hangzhou Asian Games. The analysis results showed that before the opening of the Hangzhou Asian Games, public interest was focused on themes such as the opening ceremony, popular sports in Korea, the athletes' village, soccer, matches, and international relations. During the event, the focus shifted to themes like the closing ceremony, match information, Korea-Japan matches, baseball games, and Chinese medals. After the event, public interest was mainly concentrated on the Hangzhou Asian Games, domestic interest, popular athletes, and medalists. These results provide deep insights into public opinion and perception of the Hangzhou Asian Games. In conclusion, It has significantly influenced on the beauty and artistry of the opening and closing ceremonies by the integration of Chinese culture and digital technology, the popularity of sports in Hangzhou Asian Games based on athletic performance, and the cultural perceptions of Koreans towards Japan. Moving forward, when hosting mega-events, it is essential to promote the enhancement of opening and closing ceremonies through the fusion of digital technology and culture/art of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Additionally, the activation of sports through improved performance and the reflection of the public's cultural awareness should be effectively implemented.
