“명왕신덕 사이함빈”의 대역 여진어 분석 (The Analysis on the Translated Yeojin Language in “Myungwangsindeok Sayihambin”)

초록

This manuscript aims to assume and to interpret the values of “Guguksoseopalja” which are correspond to “Myungwangsindeok Sayihambin(明王愼德 四夷咸賓)” in the 7th volume of “Seojeon”. In addition to this, it also examines the change of titles of “Guguk”. “Guuksoseopalja” corresponding to “Myungwangsindeok Saihambin” are the Korean documents in which ancient letters in the East Asian sphere are recorded.
These documents are very valuable because they are only ones remaining as a record, and it is also important that the marks and orders of Countries are same in China and Korea. The translated letters from nine countries about “Myeongwangsindeok Saihambin” in Korean documents have the same contents as in the 168th volume of 『Eomjusaninsabugo』 written by Wang Se-jeong. It is very unfamiliar to us because most of letters from nine countries were extinct now. It is Seocheon(西天), Yeojik(女直), Tatar(韃靼), Gochang(高昌), Hoehoe(回回), Seobeon(西番), Baekyi(百夷), Myeonjeon(緬甸), Palbaek(八百) that are letters in Yeojin language correspondent with the names of nine countries, respectively. The translated letters of “Myeongwangsindeok Saihambin” are as follows : “ ” (14 letters). These were recorded in 8 letters corresponding to Chinese characters after being gathered and written. This kind of method was affected by letters in Georan language.
These letters are invaluable as remaining data in both China and Korea although there remain a few of phonetic values of “Myungwangsindeok Sayihambin”, and it is possible for us to restructure the phonetic values through the comparison with 『Yeojinyeokeo』 or <Noaganyoung youngsagibi>. It is also possible to make a further study of the names, the place names, and the official titles which are in 『Goryeosa』, 『Goryeosajeolyo』, 『The true record of the Joseon Dynasty』
