초록

한국 현대시는 식민과 분단, 전쟁과 독재, 파행적 산업화 과정이라는 역사적 질곡을온몸으로 격지 않으면 안 되는 궁핍한 상황에 놓여 있을 수밖에 없었다. 비극적인 역사적 상황은 시인들로 하여금 현실을 어둠과 밤, 겨울의 알레고리로 인식하도록 하였다. 이와 함께 부조리와 모순, 억압과 결핍, 혼돈과 분열을 극복한 이상 세계를 따뜻하고 밝은 빛과 불, 봄의 알레고리로 인식하게 만든 것이 사실이다. 역사 현실의 어둠에서 빛과 불의 알레고리는 발원하고 절망에서 희망의 빛을 틔우고자 하는 열망이 근대시의 출발이기도 하다.
한국 현대시에서 암울한 시대의 알레고리로서 어둠과 밤은 고통과 죽음, 혼돈과 무질서, 모순과 부조리, 부재와 결핍, 억압과 고통을 상징적으로 표상한다. 사악한 현실은극복되어야 마땅하며 빛의 밝음, 불의 정화와 태양의 부성적 질서가 지배하는 낮의 세계로 전환되어야 온당하다. 이 빛과 어둠의 알레고리가 그 언어적 위력을 발휘하고 그실천적 계몽의 의지를 고양할 수 있었던 것은, 서정시의 조건을 형성하는 역사 현실이그만큼 사악했기 때문이다. 우리의 현실은 어둠과 빛처럼 독재/민주, 지배/피지배, 억압/해방 등 단순 선명한 이분법으로 해석할 수 있었다. 역사 현실을 어둠으로 인식하는사유는 빛에 대한 꿈을 꾸지 않을 수 없게 만들었다.
본고는 한국 현대시에 나타나는 빛과 어둠의 알레고리가 지닌 의미를 조명하고자기획되었다. 한국 근대시가 싹트기 시작하는 때부터, 특히 낭만주의적 열정을 분출하는시들의 대부분은 ‘빛’과 ‘어둠’ 등의 시어를 감각적이고 격정적으로 사용한다. 이후 빛과 어둠의 이미지는 역사 사회적 알레고리로 쓰이면서 시인들의 사회학적 상상력에 구체성을 부여한다. 본고는 빛과 어둠의 알레고리를 한국사회의 지난한 역사적 도정이라는 맥락에서 조망하였다. 환언하면 빛과 어둠의 사회학적 상상력의 면모를 한국 근현대시문학사의 역사적 맥락과 풍경 속에서 통시적으로 고찰해 그 의미를 추적했다.

영어초록

Reality ought to be overcome evil and bright light, fire of purification and the sun to rule the day buseongjeok order to be converted into the world is reasonable. Allegory of the light and the dark force that delivers verbal and practical enlightenment that it was able to enhance the willingness, the lyric form of the condition, so evil, because historical reality. We like the light and the dark reality of dictatorship / democracy, rule / ruled, the oppression / liberation could be interpreted in such a simple clear dichotomy. Historical reasons for recognizing the reality of darkness and light can not be made,dream about.
This article appears at the light and dark allegory of modern South Korea that was designed to illuminate the meaning of. Korea since the modern city budding, particularly the poems of the romantic outbursts of passion, most ‘light’ and ‘dark’ and the sense of shear and is used as passionate. Since the image of light and darkness, while the history may be used as social allegory of the poet gives a concreteness to the sociological imagination. Allegory of the light and dark paper in Korea was manifested in the historical perspective in the context of milling. In other words, light and dark aspects of Korean poetry in the literary history of the sociological imagination of the major historical context and tracing its meaning was contemplated in the picture.
