스포츠의 양면성 - 평등과 불평등 (A Study about Sport Two-sideness - Equality and Inequality)

초록

인간이 행하는 모든 과정과 결과는 자유와 평등이 있어야 하며, 스포츠 또한 예외일 수는 없다. 본 연구에서는 평등의 양면성을 스포츠에서 살펴보았으며, 수직적 또는 수평적 평등을 현대 스포츠의 상황에서 고찰해 보았다. 스포츠의 수평적 평등은 성별, 신장, 체급, 지역 , 인종 등의 불평등 문제를 일정한 규정과 규칙으로 평등화 시키는 것이다. 즉 스포츠는 평등의 원칙에 벗어나지 않게 규정과 규칙을 정하며, 스포츠를 스포츠답게 하고 불평등을 없애주는 것이다. 수직적 평등은 스포츠 승패 결과에 대한 처우와 관련하여 불평등을 없애주는 것이며, 경기 결과에 대한 순위를 각 계층 간에 불평등 없이 순위에 맞게 처우를 해주는 것이다. 따라서 스포츠에서 수평적 평등은 과정에 관한 불평등을 없애주는 것이고, 수직적 평등은 결과에 대한 불평등을 없애주는 것이다. 이런 스포츠 평등의 양면성은 미디어에 의해서 은폐되며, 평등인양 포장되어 믿게 된다. 미디어는 스포츠 종목 중에서 이해관계나 이익이 되는 선택된 스포츠만 보여준다. 미디어의 스포츠 불평등은 선택된 팀이나 선택된 선수만 보여줌으로써 권력을 행사한다. 선택된 선수나 팀은 미디어에 의해서 잘 포장되어진 영향력 있는 스타 선수이며, 이 선택된 선수의 멋진 동작이나 선택된 해설은 느린동작으로 또는 지속적으로 보여 지거나 선택된 해설만 듣게 됨으로써 전체를 보지 못하고 고정된 시각으로 선택된 장면과 해설에 익숙해지면서, 대중들은 스포츠 불평등을 망각한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 스포츠 불평등을 없애고 평등화되기 위해서는 스포츠의 불평등한 현실을 인식 할 줄 아는 자세부터 시작하여, 스포츠의 평등 권리를 찾아가는 스포츠 평등 요구의 의무와 책임을 다 해야 한다고 본다. 이에 이 글이 스포츠 평등 인식과 권리에 작은 씨앗이 되기를 바란다.

영어초록

All process and the result which the human being does freedom and the equality must be, sport also is not the exception. From the research which sees tried to observe two-sideness of equality from sport, perpendicular, tried to investigate a horizontal equity today from sport situation.
Sport the horizontal equity unequal problem of sex, extension, weight, the area and racial etc. the criticism light is to make with provision and the rule which are fixed. The sport does not escape hereupon in principle of equality and not to make be decides sport and a provision and a rule, to sport answer is to remove an inequality. The vertical equity relates with a treatment about sport victory or defeat result and is to remove an inequality, about condition result ranking each class inequality without to be right is to treat in ranking. When synthesis tries hereupon and from sport horizontal equity about process removing an inequality and, the vertical equity is to remove an inequality about result.
In compliance with the media is concealed two-sideness of like this sport equality, equal pulling up is packed and is made to believe. The media relationship of gain and loss becomes the profit from in sport item and only the sport which is selected shows. The sport inequality of the media the team which is selected or only the player who is selected with showing, exercises a power. The player who is selected the team in compliance with the media is the star player who is the influence which comes to be packed well, this the player who is selected to seem continuously with slow motion, beautiful operation or the explanation which is selected comes or only the explanation which is selected makes listen, with and a sport inequality in scene and the explanation which are selected at the time will not be able to see the whole came to be familiar from, forgets.
Writer whom sees hereupon will remove the inequality of sport and in order coming to be equal from will recognize the fact which sport is unequal will decrease and from the attitude which knows starts, that about sport equally in demand responsibility duty, in order equal right of sport searching from and all does sees.
